Abfabs/kestrels

First question is what’s the difference between Abfabs and kestrels as far as I can see they are the same place?

As a very nervous first visitor what day do people recommend? I work locally and would be going for my lunch break?

Presumably you get quite a long lunch break?

Sunday day time is probably the most consistently busy.

Other days can be hit or miss.

We've been to abfabs a few times on a Friday evening, only been once in the day time to kestrels, a couple of Thursdays ago, we were there for a couple of hours in total, not many in there but only went for a hot tub and swim on the way home from a day out.

Depending if you are looking to play, if just going for what we did then a couple of hours, could do it all in an hour but you get chatting! If going to "play" then you might be in for a long wait, depending on the day as I know they do have a couple of daytime events during the month (check their website), in which case a lunch break wouldn't be long enough x

Going for an hour clearly sets out your agenda, and therefore I’d say it’s not for you.

You need to spend time chatting and socialising, and accept that you may have no fun all day.

It is not a meat factory just for you pleasure I’m afraid

I normally go for 30-45mins (10 lengths in the pool, swift hot tub, quick noshing in the cinema with a sort that’s caught my eye and then I’m done to enjoy the rest of my day / evening), personally I find an hour drags in there…
