Just wondering if going to a club as a solo guy who isn't the most outgoing at first is something you'd recommend?

If you don't do it, you will never know. Plenty of single men go to clubs. Just don't be the kind of guy that follows couples or single women. On your first visit, just have a look round, get to know the place, try and have a talk to people and you will get to know some people and how the place runs.

Very much this! Don't expect anything to happen on your first visit. Go with the mindset to have a look around, maybe have a drink at the bar, try to chat with people, be friendly but not overwhelming. If the club has a hot tub, use it as it's a good place to get chatting to people. Don't drink too much!
