One of my New Years resolutions is to attend a swingers club at least once in 2013. Having never attended one I don't know the rules (if there are any) and whether single females are and indeed would be welcome. Can anyone offer their advice or experiences?

Single girls are most definitely welcome!!

Not sure where your local one is so best check that for the rules, dress code etc

The main rule that goes for every club and everyone that goes is....no means no!!! Do not feel that you have to play because you are at a club!

have a look at the reviews of them both in the forums and in the clubs section and see which ones you think may suit you best - also may be some older posts about them in swinging support and advice forum

Sheffield La Chambre is a great safe place for single ladies, I go on a Friday when its couples single ladies and single gents if you fancy going give me a pm (I'm too old to PM you)and would be happy to chat and introduce you etc I often take other singles who may feel uncomfy going on their own.... everyone has a good time!

We would equally recommend LC as a great venue for single fems.

It depends if your looking for couples, guys or girls for your night out. Its very guy heavy on a Friday night, though we went there was loads of single women that night as well. Saturday is a bit more chilled and we had an equally good time.

I had the same concerns as you but finally plucked up the courage to go by myself (went to Xtasia in Birmingham).

I needn't have worried as the staff were wonderful (even down to meeting me at the car park and escorting me in).

Big thing for me was not wanting to sit by myself in a club full of couples, so went up to a couple who looked approachable & asked if I could sit with them while I got my bearings.

I had a lovely evening & can't wait to go clubbing again, so would encourage you to give it a go.

It all depends on what you're looking for - I like the single guys so Saturday is only any good if I have a male friend in tow!

But to dip your toe in the water Sunday can be good, very chilled and laid back and possibly a bit more social without feeling that everyone already.knows each other.

Try the la chambre website, post on the forum and you'll get lots of advice and support.

Whenever you choose to go be sure to let door staff know it's your first time and they'll be super helpful, also ask to be introduced to some regulars so you don't feel like Norma no-mates all alone watching others chat!

Good luck.

first time I went alone, to town house I called before got all the info and told them I was coming along, they looked out for me gave me a tour and introduced me to some of the locals, single women are like gold dust in some clubs, so they take care of u, mostly free to get in and in some free drinks, May be worth coupling up with another girl or Guy, so it's not to daunting but as soon as your there I'm sure u will be fine and have fun xxxx mwah xxx

As a chesterfidlian born and bred, la chambre is local but there are so many more out there. I've never been to la chambre, having tried clubs across the south west. One day that will change though I hope

Hi Steph,

Im not a big club goer but would like to give some a try at some point.

I appreciate that im a little out of your age range but i would like to enquire if you would consider maybe accompanying myself sometime to a club and we could both go as newbies.

I can promise you a safe, secure and hopefully good time.

Regards,

Toby xxxxx

go, and make it sooner in 2013 then later.

Swinging clubs are ruled by women, that's the only rule you need to know. Men are merely organic vibrators. You decide everything that happens to you. Who you do, where you do them, what you do, for how long etc. Men just decide yes or no. Don't let the men try to decide for you. When women realise that in swinging clubs, they call all the shots, they have a fantastic time. My advice don't get a fuck buddy, they will end up limiting your fun. If you want to go with some one take a girlfriend. When you've just joined the library why buy a book.

Have fun

I've been to Xotix in Heanor twice and on my second visit became a member. I regularly go to cupids in Manchester too. Single women are in charge! You're fairly close to Xotix and its a lovely club. The atmosphere is perfect and the club is spotless. You're probably a bit far away for Cupids (which is my regular stomping ground!) but if you need any advice send me a PM
