Best club to start

My and lady friend want to go to a club,first time experience.

Probably won’t play going to get the vibe to start.

Any suggestions we are east Anglia.

Look for clubs that aren’t dress down only. That way, it’ll be more like going to a bar or nightclub.

We’ve only been to a couple of clubs, but Xtasia does have the above vibe.

Essex

Kestrels near Heathrow is good if you’re both naturist inclined. Facilities are great, it’s very well run and there’s plenty of places to play (on your own or with others) if you fancy it. It’s usually a good crowd there too.

OP4F near Alexander palace is great. Was my first club experience as a nervous bloke. Katy and co are fabulous. That said they are closed during Jan for refurbishing

Agree with above. A great place for a good night out where you can test the water. As a general rule of thumb without knowing more about what sort of club your looking for Xtasia is a great suggestion.

However if you can tell us more about what sort of vibe your after that could help? For example if your looking for a sophisticated chilled vibe rather than a big night club vibe we'd recommend Purple Mamba Nottingham. Another club were you can enjoy with no pressure but in a more chilled and intimate environment rather than a big night club vibe.

Jaydees or VA are probably your closest venues, we like VA and a lot of people like jaydees so I’d suggest just picking one and jumping in, what’s the worst that could happen

I'm not sure if things have changed but we visited VA some time ago and it didn't seem to have any private lockable rooms (please anyone correct us if thats not the case). Great for watching others as there is no where to hide. However if wanted a private room to to each enjoy other alone or with selected others in private (as you may just meet the right people and go for it) this maybe a problem. Never been to Jaydee's so know if they have private spaces. Anyway something worth considering.

No private rooms at VA but we like that. Jaydees does have private rooms I believe

I also agree that Purple Mamba is the perfect club for first timers. There are very few rules so you just do what suits you rather than what is dictated and everyone is so friendly. Perfect first venue x

I'd suggest either Jaydees or Penthouse Playrooms based on your location. They are both very fun and relaxed clubs with the play areas separate from the rest of the club so it doesn't feel "full on."

Xtasia is a nice choice too, although probably a little further to travel.
