Both are great clubs but I've actually realised last Friday that VA is quite a bit smaller than Jaydees. And, as the posters above have said, VA is mostly open play areas, with no private lockable rooms. There is couples only area but, as much as I like the decor, I think it could do with at least another clean-wipe bed. As there is only one bed there, a massage bench, two sofas (very plush, as a squirter I wouldn't go anywhere near them for play) and a piece of equipment (again, very plush) for doggy, I guess?
Plenty of clean-wipe beds in open play areas but if you want a bit of privacy, you're not going to get it. Also, some men there can be quite full-on, not taking "no" for an answer, coming really close to people playing on the beds etc.
VA has got a licensed bar so you can't bring your own drinks or snacks. So you need to take the cost of drinks into account, too, on top of your entry fee.
Oh, nearly forgot about VA's hot tub- it's quite big and you can actually have sex in there. For some, it will be a plus, for others- not necessarily.
I highly recommend the Lux Lounge if you like a bit of naughtiness in the sun- they are part of VA's summer offering.
Now let's talk about Jaydees. As I said earlier, I do think Jaydees is bigger than VA, with more fun areas to offer. There is even a kitchen with complimentary teas and coffees, as well as a social only lounge where you can chat to people without having to shout over the music.
They have private lockable rooms, then there is loads of open play areas: some by the no-play hot tub, but most upstairs. And just to correct the posters above- only the area at the very end is for couples only (it is clearly marked). The rest of the upstairs open play areas are for anyone.
Jaydees is "bring your own booze" so there would be no tab to settle at the end of the night. But you can't pay there by card, you have to have cash on you.
Hope that helps a bit- both are great clubs with a lot to offer, and with somewhat different offerings. I find VA more "full on", which may not be the best if you're only just starting on the scene. |
