Single people and Saturday nights

I am a regular of Kestrels and abfabs and attend with a very good man friend but we dont play together, we fancy trying somewhere new on a Saturday night but understand it is frowned upon to split off as its couples only? Is hellfire or somewhere new else worth a try? Thanks.
