anyone got any news on the re-opening of f club?i know the wandsworth premises closed earlier in the year but i believe a new premises was being sorted?

That's what we heard. But it's been going on for so long that it's reaching a point where you have to wonder if it will ever happen?

I think that they are promoting club and/or party night and suspect that they may stick with that.

We had been keeping a close eye on this one, as it sounded like it was going to be the club to go to in Central London - opening it Vauxhall would have been a clever move because the council would not have been able to object due to the number of Gay sex clubs in the same area, they could have cried discrimination. It seems though that its not amounted to anything yet which is a shame. We did ask them via another site and were told the week before Xmas, so it may well have fallen into the pit of best intentions. We would love to see it open, as there aren't really many clubs in central. London where you can dance away before fun, though we do still have two great London Clubs.

We think the two best clubs in London are Ourplace4fun and Adfabs, both offer a totally different but great experience, and that's what's so good about them.

Neither are what you would call central London though, Ourplace being the closest with it being in North central London near Muswell Hill, Adfabs being Hatton Cross is really only considered London because its next to Heathrow.

The ones closer to the center are saunas like Rios. Not a club we would consider to be 'good' overall.

There also Cocoaflex which we just tried for the first time and enjoyed, but still in Ilford. Nothing more central than Ourplace.

i think abfabs and its daytime pseudonym kestrels has lost its way a little bit. seems to suddenly be very cliquey.

I heard they had issues with the premises in Vauxhall which is a shame.

I had a number of good nights at both the f club then the g club when it moved. On and off been going for last 6 years or so.

London does need a central located club....but I doubt it will get one

This was posted on F Clubs members forums. So if you dont frequent that much, here's the jist of whats happening with the f club right now.

Hi

Prior to closing down in Wandsworth, we had found a perfect location in Vauxhall.

Around October, the new landlord informed us that there were some structural problems and would get sorted out by December. They came back to us later on saying the premises was unsuitable for a club.

At this stage we were back to square one and ever since, we are trying to look for a suitable venue in London. This is proving to be very difficult.

We need something that is near Central London with enough space for a wet area, bar, dance floor, fetish dungeon and playrooms to cater for over 300 members. This means an area of approximately 6000 sq ft.

As most of you will appreciate, this is not so easy to find at a reasonable price. Once we do find something, it will have to go through Planning and Licensing applications with the relevant council which is very time consuming.

At this stage, all we can say is, please be patient. We are as eager as all the members are to reopen the club. However, we must follow all the procedures and regulations.

There also was club lick in Wandsworth too but that has closed down last year .

The Vanilla Alternative is a little further out but worth the trip, I wish there was somewhere more local to me to hang out like this!

In Manchester I tried cupids once as a couple in the daytime and it was very inexpensive and people were chilling, playing pool with a great atmosphere...like a normal bar with the undercurrent of extra fun all around!

Not heard anything - then again not even visited F Clubs own forums..

pretty much extinct.. who knows they may be able to extract some dna from some amber and bring something back to life..

We are in Regular Contact with the previous owners of the F Club, They are our Long Time Friends.

So be assured when its going to happen we will be amongst the very first to know.

They will be Back and in the True Form and Style they are so well known for.

Venues close to the city are Extremely Difficult to procure both financially and due to Local Council Constraints.

Probably a Dual Purpose Club might be the only Answer to subsidise the amount of Investment and to sustain the operational Costs involved , Stay Tuned

Think it's safe to say F club has gone and is not coming back. I doubt Brian has the will to bother with trying to resurrect it, since it's been SO long.

There has been no news - if there was we'd all know about it.

Yeah same here.. had some good nights in the original (f block) F Club..

OK so it wasnt the best of venues compared to some others around currently, but it managed to pull in some quality people for some right good events - and the management made it an event!
