Other clubs we should visit

Libs is our favourite club and we will definitely continue to go there, but recently we’ve wondered which other clubs are worth visiting.

We’ve been to Xtasia once before and had a good time and also to Chams - whilst we could see why others would like it, it wasn’t really for us.

What other clubs would you fabbers recommend and why?

Can I ask what differed between these clubs? Haven't had enough experience to know what's right for us both yet x

Libs has an area where you can socialise/drink before playing whereas Chams is a wet club where clothes are taken off straightaway.

Like I say, we’re not skating it: we just prefer a bit of mystery before the playing begins.

Xtasia has more of a club feel.

It's useful to know how places vary, thank you! Yes I would struggle to get naked immediately lol x

Here, There, Everywhere

Vanilla Alternative is a must!

If it’s too far to travel book one of their hotel rooms and make a weekend of it

Have a look into Jaydees. It wouldn’t be far from you.

I started going in October as a single woman. I haven’t been to any other club so I can’t compare but I can’t imagine going to another either. The staff are welcoming and attentive and the clubbers just make the night! I’ve met some of the best people at Jaydees. I’ve been about 10 times since Oct!! You can dress down if you want but there’s no pressure, there’s a hot tub, private rooms and the upstairs has a more open play area. It’s also bring your own beer so it’s actually a really decent, cheap night out. If you’re looking to try various different clubs, definitely pop Jaydees on your list x

Another vote for Jaydees! We were both really nervous about trying a club, we thought we’d be sat in the corner on our own. However everyone makes you feel welcome and we’ve met some really great people, we absolutely love it and are so glad we bit the bullet and tried it out. The only downside is we can’t get there more often lol

Another tick for Jaydees from us. A little bit of everything there and a really welcoming and laid back atmosphere. Well worth a try.

The trouble is there's such a variety in clubs. We've been to many. A couple of noticeable mentions for variety:

Purple Mamba Nottingham is a classly more intimate club.

Pandoras Leeds is a huge club with a massive variety of spaces. Fun for a large party atmosphere.

Penthouse Playrooms in Dunstable is a really good club with a great night club atmosphere.

It’s very easy to get lost in a maze of debauchery with a truly impressive range of different play rooms. It’s recently expanded to include a big downstairs area with two hot tubs, a larger dungeon and a big outdoor social/ smoking area.

It’s definitely one of the bigger clubs in the country with only Chameleon’s having a comparable amount of space.

It so depends on what it is you like at clubs.

I like dancing for instance and whilst we like VA the dancefloor isn't great as it's Stone and got gaps in the mortar so you can't relax in heels on there.

We like libs too but find the big playroom so hot with the jacuzzi in there. But love the layout of that room and the fact it's away from the music whereas in VA you can hear the music booming and they have different music coming out of olayrrim speakers so can be off putting.

Jaydees is different to both VA and libs so hard to compare. It's always had a lovely friendly atmosphere when we've been. It is cheaper and its take your own drink which brings cost down. It also has a good spread of food they bring out mid evening and make your own tea and coffee area.

Penthouse is similar to libs and VA style wise. Dance floor. Seating areas. Music isn't so loud you can't talk there. And a mix of open and closed play areas. (VA only has one curtained off bed for private play).

But it's all about the people who go on the night you're there and what's important to you. No one can decide that other than you.

Read reviews. Look at profiles of people who go. Look at theme night's and take the plunge on what appeals most.

The attic is one off my favourite other than Chams.

I’ve been to a few other clubs but none I’ve wanted to visit as quickly as I have with the attic.

Always great atmosphere with a good mix of people. Price and no membership is a bonus as well .

Website says around 5500 Sq ft, one of the busiest nights I've been there where easily 200-300 people there, ever area of the club just seemed full to the brim with bodies.
