Are clubs too quiet in January?

So it’s my birthday (the Mrs) and we’re heading into London the weekend of the 7th Jan. I remember going to Jaydees about this time last year and it was pretty quiet. Does anyone think is worth heading to LeBoudoir, or is it just going to be dead at that time of year? Would love an extra special birthday treat - or two

Personally we've not found clubs particularly any quieter than other months. To be fair people tend to not have a lot on in January which means they have more opportunities to go to clubs. And I think we all like to find nice warm spaces to dress down and chase the winter blues away (especially if tickets to PDI or Cap d'Agde are not financially viable).

Remember this time last year people were not long just coming out of covid restrictions and clubs were still opening up so some folks were more cautious back then then they were now

I visited Chams with a play friend last January, and it had a good amount of people in, resulting in a very enjoyable visit for us We’re heading there again first weekend of February

We're going to VA in January as we'll be in the area and it's half price.

VA is half price in January? Interesting we live right by there.

Good point about last year coming out of lockdown and point taken that you only need one or two people to make an amazing night. But I was just being greedy as it’s my birthday and hoping for all the hottest men and women to be there!

I think most nightlife venues are quiet in January, not just swinger clubs.

It's a combination of Christmas expenses/over indulgences and New Year resolutions starting

Exactly, maybe we’ll just have a vanilla night and save it for bedhoppers/wanderlust event in Feb.

Don't think it's all of January, but it definitely is on the 7th.

totally agree x and also you cant say a club is rubbish as it's the guests that make it good or rubbish the club is a facility only!!
