Struggling to find a club that allows men on their own on a Saturday (26th Nov) night in the midlands or north. Stupid question but do fabsters who haven’t yet met each other ever pair up and go as a couple on their first meet or is that a totally unrealistic hope?

I can imagine meeting for a drink near the club and if all is good then heading on in, but then again I have a very fertile imagination

I guess such a possibility does exist but I'd say it's rather rare. First of all, it would mostly be men who'd benefit financially from such an arrangement. Secondly, people tend to behave differently in a regular pub than in a swingers clubs. I have made a mistake in the past, took someone to the club who I did not know well enough. Long story short, that trip did not end well. I'm not going to risk my membership again.

Last but not least, such arrangement disturbs club's male to female and couples ratio, unless you'd choose to stay as a couple all night, only play together (if at all) and leave together.

That all makes sense to me and good to hear it from the other persons point of view. It sounded like an ok idea from my point of view but I can now understand the potential issues. Many thanks for the reply, much appreciated

Where in the North are you talking? I don't think there are any clubs in the Midlands that let single guys in on a Saturday.

Yes people do go with others they haven't met but I doubt this would happen in the time frame you are talking about.

The Attic in Derby will allow a couple to sign in a +1 as the recognise throuples. You still pay the usual rate but you don't need to wait till after the alloted time, queue or be subject to the normal 1 single per couple already inside rule.

To be honest I would feel uneasy going with some one I hadn’t met without chatting quite a bit so I get your time frame point. I’m heading up to Manchester for work but could easily stop off on the way for the night on Saturday.

Have you looked at cupids? If I remember rightly their couples only night is in the week.

That sounds a little more civilised than queuing outside not knowing how long until you are let in if at all. Probably raises many of the same questions as pairing up with a single.
