Club Play ALL January Closer - Reopening Fri 6th February Friday with £60,000 Of Major Improvements!

Blackpool, At The Crack Of Dawn!!

Important announcement -

This was a very hard secert to keep so long but ....

Club Play will be closed the WHOLE of January until Friday 6th February, with New Years Eve being our last night open night until we reopen with a major improvements of £60,000 to the Club.

This will include-

Complete NEW Air conditioning system in the entire club.

A NEW HEATED SWIMMING POOL is being added in new extended proposed built area of the club with the hot tub moved there.

A brand new smoking area is being added.

An extra locker room is being added to the club

All carpets in the old locker rooms are being replaced.

The showers are being changed and updated.

Some playrooms will change with others being updated but they are a surprise xxx

The plan is that _lub play will open more & more next year & eventually we will be open 4 nights a week Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & a few daytimes with NEW set events

We would have ideally wanted to do these changes in lock down but the lack of funds and finance made it impossible.

We want to thank you all for your patience while we make these massive changes and move Club Play forward onto another level and we look forward to seeing you all after we reopen.

We suspect it will probably be very busy that weekend so we may have to do a opening weekend over the two nights Friday & Saturday depending on numbers xxx

These changes have long been planned for & been at times been very, very difficult to keep secert but we are at the point preparation works have already beginning so thought we best make the announce xxx

We and all the club staff & volunteers are very exited about about this and want to thank everybody that supported and stuck by the club in lockdown & afterwards

As a thank you we have started a loyalty scheme, so pick a loyalty card on your next visit and after 10 entrys you will receive a free visit

You’re right there, the effect was huge, some clubs transformed others didn’t and now suffer the consequences.

Mmmm Swimming Pool sounds hot. Nothing better than chilling with friends in water.

Look forward to visiting here very soon for my very first time.

We inherited the club after it's very short three month life as the new concessions with lots of very,very expensive issues to resolve.

Two issues where just to expensive to rectify straight away & lock down did not help -

1) The hot tub has no drainage in the floor 3 ft underground meaning if it over flows it goes straight into the changing rooms causing the smell and why new carpets are being fitted.

2) The heating is all electric and out dated and not working in areas meaning expensive plug in heaters in some areas that are not effective upstairs inparticular making some cold spots on less busy nights.

We are finally at the point financially we can fix all these issues and decided to go even further and add a heated pool

Paul's back ground is over 25 years in property investment and renovation meaning he's lots of contacts and friends in & out of the swinging world and owed a hell of a lot of favours

A lot of these changes are at cost value only xxx

One big mistake a lot of businesses make is to put off small jobs due to ineffective money management. Many of these small jobs become very big expensive jobs quicker than people realise.

It is a testament to Paul and Dawn that the club survived the lockdown when so many other businesses didn't.

And now these new additions, alterations, and updates will sort some behind the scenes things out that Paul and Dawn wish to address.

The heated swimming pool will no doubt be a big hit with all the water lovers.

The Loyalty card is a great idea, too.

An idea I had is the have a customer suggested theme night:

Basically customers get to suggest a theme they would really like to see in the club and the rest of us vote on what we would like. This could be every quarter, or every month, and the person/couple that suggested it could be a co-host for that evening.

Just an idea.

Once again thanks to all those customers & hosts and staff that stuck by the club and believed in us xxx

We will as a club continue to stay postive and try and raise above the negative politics & games being played against our club!

All we have ever wanted to do was provide people with the best club experience we could provide and that's exactly what we will continue to do and to those playing games trying to discredit our club, you can try but we will be here long after you are forgotten & gone xxx
