"I know it’s a way away but planning to go to my first swingers event at Penthouse Playrooms on 25th November. I’ve been to queer/kink events in London before but this is my first event at a swingers club. Hoping to meet bi men and male couples, and get to watch men together. Is the club dress down/do people usually dress down quickly at these parties?
It certainly won't put us off if the answer is yes, it's just so we can plan outfits. Like I said, we have never been to the club before so advice/tour offers are very welcome

We're really looking forward to trying Penthouse Playrooms on the 25th, it's been on our club wishlist for a while and the LGBTQ+ party was just the event to tempt us to make the journey. Tickets have been purchased and the Premier Inn has been booked
Is the club dress down/do people usually dress down quickly at these parties?

K x"A lot of people turn up in something suitable, under a coat or outerwear but through the evening change, remove layers or change 'character'... personally I enjoy the bar and a bit of a social and a wander round meeting folk, then adopt less (or more  ) clothing/accessibility as the evening develops. | |||

Would love to know about the dress down thing too. I normally go to kink parties where you arrive in your fetish outfit, so I’m not sure how it works at clubs where you arrive in a more “normal” outfit then dress down. I’m not sure what to wear either! I’m genderfluid and prefer to present masculine/be perceived as masc in kinky/sexy spaces, so I don’t want to walk in and have people ask me to play without establishing what I’m into and what I identify as! | |||

"Well our tickets are booked. After a long break due to covid we're back. Our first trip to penthouse but know the venue very well. Can't wait to see the new look and see the sexy clientèle. " The last one I went to (I missed last months) I found there was play, socialising, play and socialising going on throughout the evening so I wouldn't worry too much .... my best bit of fun was after meeting up with some TGirls at about 1 then having a few drinks and getting very naughty after that ... the extended hours really help with that fluidity. I think the fact people didn’t have to dress down in the play areas is abit of a put off to. There was men lurking fully dressed in every dark corner " Yeah that was offputting tbh. I’m used to kink clubs where dress codes are fully enforced and solo people watching intently is discouraged. Still the staff last night were great. I was hoping to see some hot bi boy action (something I’ve been trying to find for years) but I guess last night wasn’t my lucky night. I will keep trying tho! | |||

Yep probably same 2 guys. One with a white shirt and blue jeans. The other was wearing a dark navy cardigan.
Really nice venue though, great choice of drinks and of corse the host with the most TT.

"Well I’m not sure what to make of last night, it was definitely different to the clubs I’m used to (KV and similar). The host was really lovely and welcoming. The venue is pretty great! But it felt quite empty, and like not much play was happening. Is it normally like that? I might try it again on a busier night. " England were playing last night. Might have been that. Last month there was about 150 people there so definitely not the case other times. | |||

"We went last night too after some last minute childminding arrangements came off.... We love the club itself, the staff and facilities however like all clubs at the moment the numbers ebb and flow a little whilst everyone gets back into the rhythm post covid (also Eng-er-land were playing in the World Cup last night). We think Paul is a great host and there's always a good mix of people at his events. Last night had a lot of new faces (who hopefully will return) and we didn't personally have a problem with 'lurking' single men but if you ever find their behaviour (or anyones behaviour) inappropriate then have a quiet word with any of the super approachable staff who can assist because everyone wants a good time to be had. Last night was a little more social than usual but this was probably due to so many newbies in attendance - that said there we saw a fair bit of action in the cinema, orgy room, cave area and various other spots. The only really quiet area were the jacuzzi's which is a shame because those new facilities are amazing. We genuinely think that bi nights hosted here have always been great and now have that added TT sparkle, festive mood and without the distraction of the World Cup next month should be amazing and have no doubt the event will keep going from strength to strength." "Have to agree about the alleged stalking guys, one seemed to be hyper, rushing everywhere, bumped into me a couple of times. It was quieter than usual, probably due to football and maybe cost of living. Looking forward to the Xmas meet, see you all then. Take care everyone x" He was the main offender last night ...he hit on Nicola whilst waiting for me whilst I was in the loo, we got him thrown out. This type of single guy is the worst and last night was the closest I got to being physically aggressive with one of them. | |||
