Plymouth

Certainly used to be the case that its totally impossible to say whether any day is likely to be busy or not.

Play is not allowed in the spa areas at either venue, but at least there is the upstairs to go to in Bristol Gardens should something be happening.

not far from Brighton

I've not been to bghs for many moons, but please could someone that has been to both bghs and silverleigh let me know how they compare?

Bghs is local to me, but if silverleigh has better space facilities wondering if its worth going there instead?

Also... it says its free for women on Mondays... does this mean completely free? Or do you still have to pay membership?

Hit and miss at both clubs on any given day as I’m sure you can imagine.

Cold and rain often makes them busier we’ve found.

If you’ve not done BGHS it’s well worth a visit.

No membership needed, completely free for women on a Monday. Not sure if you need ID on entry. They have a website http://www.silverleigh.com/

I have been to both, I am probably biased, as BGHS is local but I would say Spa facilities are exceptional and clean and a reasonable space to play in the private rooms upstairs. Silverliegh has a bigger and heated pool but I feel place is in need of modernisation.

As always with any place it’s the people that really make it and that varies everyday

BGHS is our choice even though further to travel.
