Edinburgh

Might have some free time next month so I've been thinking of visiting a porn cinema. Been to a few in the past in Germany, Austria and the US, but not for years.

It's a four hour drive to Empire from Edinburgh, so wondering if it's worth it or am I better flying to Brussels or Dublin, or back to Germany instead.

Anyone been recently and can let me know how it was?

I don't think I'd do an 8 hour round trip.

It's a great place if you like guys and trans. Never many couples in the few times I've been.

While I mostly agree that an 8-hour roundtrip wouldn't be worth it alone, if you went to either Leeds or Bradford (maybe to the Media Museum), which are right next to Hudd, and made it into a daytrip, with a good few hours in Empire, I'd say that would be worth it.

Also, make sure you go on either a Tues or Thurs, and aim to get there for lunchtime and stay for a few hours, that way you'll get to see two strip shows on the main stage.

I made the newbie mistake of not sitting on the front row for the strip show, and therefore didn't get to help apply the oil . . .wink wink.

Loads of different rooms, plenty of folks (mostly men, although one couple was in when I was there, and a few TGs), and a good vibe running through the place.

So, make a full day of it, take in some local sights and then enjoy some seedy delights, you'll not regret it.

I'll be going for the first time on Friday. If I enjoy it, I'll go back again on Saturday! I'll be in my crossdressing alter ego (just lingerie though...no make up etc) and I'm very much looking forward to it!
