Manchester clubs?

Just wondering if anyone has any tips/info on clubs in Manchester? I've never been to a club but I really want to visit one. As a single guy though, having to go in the daytime (I work nights), I don't really want to be sat on my own in a club? Do many people go in the daytime?

I would recommend going to cupids in Swinton. staff are very friendly and there always a few in even in the day time.
