Hi I never been to a club before and decided Vanilla Alternative will be my "break my Virginity" venue. Anyone been there can give me newbie tips to make the experience more comfortable? I'm pretty shy and reserved. Don't like being naked in front of strangers etc Much appreciated

It's a great club. It's my favourite and regular.

Best advice is connect on the forums with people going when you are then at least you have people to chat with you've already spoken to.

You can wear clothes at the bar boy dress down in playrooms so robe, towel or underwear.

If you need to stay booking a room there is handy.

Hi , I’m an older gentleman and I’m going this Weds coming 13th , I tend to go once every three or four weeks.

I go on my own , but have found everyone to be really lovely.

All there for a good time and it’s great to have a chat and share a glass of Fizz with friends.

Without doubt my favourite club , very clean and well organised.

An older gentleman should not feel out of place …. I never have. !

Like Essex butterfly, VA is my favourite club too and i try to get there about twice a month as a single female.

This might sound like a cliché but strangers are just friends you’ve not met yet, as this is so true as people that come to VA are such a great crowd

In terms of getting naked, I would probably bet those nerves will disappear within an hour but if they don’t you don’t have to get naked, you can wear sexy lingerie or something that you feel good wearing.

I go to MILF club on Wednesday daytime and you might want to think about a daytime event to dip your toes. Think of it a a bit of sunbathing surrounded by open minded people and if you want to take bikini off then do it, if not it’s fine to leave on.

It’s such a chilled place and there are people of all ages, shapes and sizes. In terms of a younger group of guys you might be thinking about a specific event night so do check out first but daytime is a good mix.

We have been a few times and loved it. We have just booked the camp site for Friday 29th. It’s a bi night event . But we are hoping to get there early afternoon and just sit about with the tent making friends and having a few drinks. Just like we would at a festival.

The bar area has a dance floor and some seating. Most are dressed in this area. The play areas are then , couples room, jacuzzi with surrounding play areas, then the room parallel to jacuzzi with several play bed 1x with a privacy curtain. Then next to them are some relaxed beds in the corridor/chill area that connect the 3 above areas. Then lastly there is the dungeon off the opposite end of the bar with several play stations including the glory hole.

Remember when u visit just chat to people. U don't have to do anything u don't want to and that includes getting naked. Have great fun. I love it there. The ages of people vary lots

Attended the VA for 1st time in Feb and now I don't go anywhere else ! My bf has even started attending too .. Absolutely amazing club very relaxed. You don't end to dress down if u r not comfortable with it... I attend bi night every month and also booked for festival 5-7aug camp3d last month and camping for festival too x camping is open from April to September as far as I know and u book camp slot on the website with tickets. X

Yes helpful as the venue hasn't replied to my email yet. I asked what time can we get there to set up tent and when you said September, is that inclusive of that month please?

If you are shy (which I doubt once you get going) it might not be the best place for a first club experience.

I think the camping is on the big field at the back of the building, down to the river.

I think it would be as there is never any expectation to play and the VA is a nice venue to just visit.

Then decide later whether playing in clubs is for you or not

I'd suggest that the first time you go your plan should just be to chat to a few people, see how it all works, and give yourself the info you need to decide whether you want to go back.

Of course you can always change your plan, but try and keep the expectations and pressure on yourself low.

Thanks... be good to see you down there if you go when I go. I'm not going alone, going with my male friend but we're not in a sexual relationship so probably break off chatting to various people. I'm actually less chatty with strangers than he is. He likes chatting to anyone which isn't really my thing. I'm more conservative.

Sure but I'm just praying there's some hotties to have fun with lol I don't do dating or have a boyfriend. Trying to hook up with men on fab is virtually impossible and utter headache so thought clubs is the better way of having some sexual fun? Am I wrong?

I don't go naked on the beach. My friend is a naturist i just tag along

But i have sunbathed naked in the gay area, hoping it's safer area but that's the times when men approached us so I generally don't do it because of that. I think we get mistaken for a swinging couple that's active there.
