Rios - June 20th - 23rd. Words of advice for a club virgin?!

How's it foing folks?

I'm thinking of checking out rios at some point over the above dates.

I'm quite experienced in the lifestyle but this will be my first club visit.

I'm very mellow so I don't expect to be shocked by anything haha.

Any reviews or words of advice? Or any males, females or couples want to take me/come with me? If you do I will consider it a favour and cover travel and a few drinks!

I'm a super chilled guy. Clean, professional. Not mental. Up for most things

Good shout but I'm in Aldgate and with the train strike I expect kestrels is possibly out of the question. Shocker!

Keep going with ideas tho haha much appreciated!

Although, Monday is bi night and if I finish work early I could be there by 6.30ish... assuming trains etc are running smooth.

Getting back to aldgate might be a problem...

There is potential here but I'm not convinced haha

Why not go to Bitastic at The Greenhouse in Luton?

From Aldgate get to Farringdon or Kings Cross and the Thameslink will have you in Luton in half an hour with a 5 min walk to Greenhouse. Very relaxed place with a horny vibe.

I'd never heard of it but just checked it out.

Only thing that puts me off is its only open 10-12 and getting back to Aldgate at 12 will not be loads of fun. Seems like a lot of work for a 2 hour window.

My suggestion would to not go to Rios. Its not a swinging club. Swinging club etiquette isn't followed there and you'd leave with the wrong impression of the club lifestyle

Don't worry. I'm from Jersey which is very small. There is almost no scene over here. No nudist facilities, no clubs. A lot happens behind the scenes but nothing in public. The problem is, you'd always end up meeting people you know from the office or bumping in to your mates mum haha

I'd prefer a good swing club to get involved with but failing that I still want to experience some of the other clubs and facilities we don't have over here

I have done some planning haha and I think Kestrels might be do-able, I hadn't considered getting an uber previously which might save time. Uber price estimates around £40 so that's not so bad.

I can possibly get to West Drayton by around 5.30/6pm assuming i don't cock up the travel.

Might be a mission but I'm sure it'll be worth it!

What's the score? Can new comers just arrive and pay at the door or do you need a member? Anything I should be aware of before I start waxing and pruning? Haha

Also, still keen for a buddy. Offer open to all. I'll get a few rounds in, or a few coffees if you prefer if anyone wants to act as tour guide.

Also happy to receive any more ideas for my other evenings in London

It's 10am to Midnight. However it's only on Tuesdays and as you say that's the day of the rail strike so will be impossible to get to.

I have a plan now. How well it works, we will see haha

Wednesday I'm going to finish work as early as possible and jump on underground to hounslow. From there, its just a short Uber ride.

Just need to male sure I'm back in the underground in time to get back to Aldgate I guess?

So went to Rios today. Friendly bunch. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was so relaxed. It was a bit quiet, so would love to go again in an evening. Would definitely go again.

Hey, unfortunately not

The train and tube strikes really ruined me. How unlucky that the only time I'm over, also happens to be during the strikes!

But not to worry, currently making plans to come over again in a couple months. Will plan to be over for some kestrels events next time. Spend a week getting around different clubs etc
