We're nothing to do with the place but believe because there's a licensed bar, they don't want you to, you'd have to ask them.

Still a few weeks to go, we've never been before, have heard it used to be a lot busier.

Will definitely give Pleasures a try next time, we just didn't fancy the theme that night

Or try the brand new club in Wickford that’s got a heated pool unlike Eureka who won’t heat theirs and classy inside which you wont find at Eureka

You don’t have to be part of the theme night, just go as yourselves and have fun with the people there. You will of missed a trick if you go to eureka. Listen to the people. It’s a no brainer.

I really don't understand your reasoning. Are you hoping that by running down Eureka that the other clubs will be better? Surely the more clubs that are available the more competition there is prices will be kept low. If your preference on a Saturday night is to go to Pleasures then mate, bully for you. But nobody can ever describe the acres of beautiful Kent countryside at Eureka! as shit. Maybe your preference for other parties is your prerogative. But if Eureka were to close it would be a very sad day for all of us who know it as a unique and beautiful place. And all the other clubs would exploit that fact to put up their prices. Eureka isn't for everyone, but all clubs are different. All I'm saying is that to run down a club means that people are put off from giving it a try, when that club might be perfect for them. The more choice we have the better right?

I went to eureka for 7 years under previous owners. it was brilliant and the best place to go. since the change in management and the way it was done the place is a no go. firstly because the way certain people were treated and because the way it is now being run is shit. woods are beautiful but the club nights are shit. shit djs shit management and a shit night certainly compared to how it used to be. now I'm assuming you are relatively new to eureka and don't know any of the past or how great it used to be. used to be packed maybe 300 people woth all cabins booked. lucky to see 50 now. the only thing that keeps eureka is business is the woods and the pool in the summer and possibly that pleasures don't allow single men on Saturdays. but that's all that's keeping eureka alive. why do you think they removed their own club from the reviews page eh?

No, I've been going to Eureka for around 10 years but mainly during the day while the sun shines. Sorry to know that you are so unhappy. But surely not much has changed with the premises itself.

it's not the premises that's the problem. it's the management the djs amd the main fact that its a shit night out compared to previous and all the regualars the 250 that don't go anymore. it's a sad night out now. and it's not just me that's unhappy so are the other 250 that don't go anymore. I just more vocal about it when I see so many that blind to it all. but hey if it's your sort of place and you enjoy it then that's all that should matter for you.

"See the old guard are out beating up Eureka again because it ain’t being run the way they demand.

We can only speak for us and wouldn’t want to speak for anyone else. From a business point of view it’s obvious that Eureka have made a mistake. We’re heading into a big downturn in the economy- obviously they couldn’t have predicted that- and it would have been the perfect time for them to say bring your own drinks like the old days and get value for money. But they didn’t.

They’ve made some huge errors- and most businesses do the same at some point- but the key is to say “look we ballsed up a bit what would you all like to see us do to correct it.” They never did that and it’s such a shame.

The thing with any business is that the amount you invest doesn’t automatically entitle you to an equivalent return. It’s got to be what the potential customers want.

We would love Eureka to be a success again. There is nowhere better in the uk on a hot summers day. But for the love of god they should reach out to their client base and ask what they want instead of hiding away and asking to be removed from reviews and forums. That will never work in their favour.

We wish them nothing but good will and success but they really really need to change their mindset to make it happen

Had been going to the club for 25 years.

During the summer before lockdown we arrived for a day visit but had left our membership card in our other car.

Was refused entry. We had ID so said just check our membership against your records.

Refused to do that.

Haven't been back since.

Very poor customer relations.
