Bristol Gardens Health Spa

Thinking of going today on my own for the first time. Anyone been and can tell me mid week afternoon what the mix of M and F is like. Would love to chill and chat with F or MF and meet new people. If you fancy joining wink or DM. Any advice welcome and appreciated too

Most of these places are always male heavy but if I was you I'd just go try it out for yourself they'll always be people to speak to

I'd hate the thought that as a single female or as part of a couple that I couldn't just go and relax and enjoy the environment that I'd be targeted for someone else's entertainment even if it's just for an innocent chat

Don't get me wrong I'll chat to anyone but the fact you want a female or couple to speak to and want to know the ratio of attendees implies it's not really just a chat you're looking for

& in my experience the successful guys in these environments are the ones that don't look out for the lone females or couples, they are the ones that join in any group conversation, chat to the guys, females, couples equally, don't follow people into the sauna, hottubs, breakout rooms etc they'll just be their enjoying the facilities

We personally do not go to BGHS even though we are local. It's a spa rather than a swinging establishment.

It’s a great place, I love that fact it’s jut a spa downstairs and there are rooms upstairs

There will definitely be plenty of men with chance of couples or single women.

It can't be stressed enough that it's a naturist spa and overt sexual behaviour or pestering women will end with you leaving.

They pride themselves with having women come in because they know they won't be hassled.

Go, enjoy the sauna, hot tubs and massage. Chat with everyone and have a great time.

Should anything happen it'll be a bonus.

Totally get that and after the 2 mad weeks I've had I can't wait to have a massage and a chill for a bit. Always been interested in naturism too so inside rather than a campsite a nice start ha

I have been a few times daytime on weekdays as a single female and all the times I’ve been I’ve been the only woman there. from 3pm onwards you can see one or two couples, but 90% of the attendants at that time is guys.

I’ve found it difficult to relax to be honest because I get followed around and chatted up everywhere I go. When I was an athlete 3 years ago and training heavily for a competition and a marathon all I wanted to do was a soak and steam to relax my very sore muscles but that thing of being followed around put me off so much. Last time I was there this past January there were 2 guys who kept chatting to me and following me … one of them asked if I wanted a massage upstairs. I said no thank you. Then he waited until I was leaving to offer me a lift home despite me saying several times that I would make my own way.

Since then, I don’t think I’ll go again until I get a chance to go with one of my FWBs on a weekend night which is couples only. I have to add that I’ve never felt unsafe there, staff are great, but it’s too much aggro really…

The only time I've ever been to BGHS (I live in Yorkshire) I had the pleasure of joining a very friendly couple and we had lots of swinging fun.

In 20 years of attending bghs not once have we ever had any aggro from anyone. There have been occasions when we have had unwanted attention but a firm no puts a stop to it and if it doesn't then a quite word with the staff certainly would.
