New Years Eve

We have just had it confirmed that we have our first child free New Years Eve in 5 years!!

We can actually go out! We are both in shock!

So. We REALLY want to go to a club. And we know it is early but we want all our ducks in a row for this one.....

We are near Gatwick and happy to drive within reason (hour/hour and half) to get somewhere. Which should give us a few choices

Where would you go? Bearing in mind we have not been to a club in this part of the country yet.

I went to abfabs last year with jet and it was a fantastic night. It's a great club and I'm hoping we get there again this year.

If we were at home it would just be the two of us with the lad in bed so after 5 years we want to have a good night out together that's all. We do a big family xmas.

La Chambre for New Year again,like to see in the new year with abit of a bang!!

Exactly. As well as the fact the family are all doing their own things NYE so we wouldnt see them anyway.

To us Christmas is family time with kids n relatives, new years eve is our adult party time... Has always been this way since our 20's before we got into swinging.

Totally agree with this sentiment.

For my sins, I'm going to Xtasia in West Brom with a couple I know, sounds like it's going to be a great night with a combo of black tie, ballgowns or fancy dress to set the tone before the fun starts. Mind you the lady of the couple seems to want to start her fun in the hotel first, well it will have been about 10 weeks since we last met....

It will for me though be the first time I've been to a swinger club on NYE, so it's a night I'm looking forward to with great anticipation...

New Years Eve is an awesome night out at Clubs, probably one of the best of the year. All the decent clubs are packed to the rafters, we've done New Years at Liberty Elite a couple of times and it was awesome. If your going to book in a hotel near the venue, then we recommend you do it now otherwise you might get stuck. it would seem if your in Gatwick one of the best clubs would be Adfabs to you, there are a couple of clubs closer, but we haven't been to either of them in well over a year (two in one case) and never on New Years Eve.

Adfabs will be packed, and New Years is the one party you can gurantee everyone will get up and dance, which is always good fun. Whereever you go, you will have a blast, even if you don't play (And you probably will, so don't worry)

The Lodge in Gloucester has had amazing NYE parties in the past. This years will be no different. Lots of people there too. Always a great time in a relaxed, sexy atmosphere xx Sleep over option too!

thats what xmas is for me.......

NYE is all mine.... I have been to clubs on new years eve for a few years and it is always a good night...

We have always done it that way until little one came along.

I have worked shifts for years and everywhere I have worked the guys without kids work Xmas and the guys with kids work NYE. Always suited everyone that way.

Families gets to spend Xmas with the kids and everyone else gets to go out NYE. Xmas day is the time for young kids. NYE means nothing to them really.

Anyway - we are waiting to find out what shifts we can swap/beg off etc and depending on that it is either AbFabs or Xtasia.

So thanks for all the advice everyone. Much appreciated

We've done AbFabs on NYE and had a blast, would recomend. We too find ourselfs free and and debating there or maybe VA. Enjoy where ever you end up.

We have just booked to go there for the first time on NYE and really looking forward to it. And got a room around the corner at the Travelodge for £21, lovely!

Depends on your point of view. I'vew shyed away from having a party at home on NYE in the past thinking that it's the night that everyone either "does family stuff" or goes to the clubs, and the way that they are packed out bears that out.

Now though, I've been asked by a number of friends who don't want to go to a club and be treated like a sardine on the night, to do something as an alternative, where people aren't stifled by the crowds, and can move without treading on toes, and turn around without knocking someone elses drink out of their hands. There's something to be said for having enough room to "spread your wings". Over-full clubs ain't for everyone it seems.

Club Kiss this year is holding an amazing New Years eve party in Southampton .It is also holding an early New years eve party that can't make the eve and if you ask nicely sometimes you can stay over

We did Raddlets last year Absolutely fantastic.

Might look at Abfabs this year if we can get pennies together

We thought about Abfabs but after seeing the cost @ £80 per couple plus it's a black tie affair and they are asking males to wear black dinner jacket and cumberband (all well and good until you fancy a bit of fun and loose half your clothes) might pass on this

Went last year and it was a fantastic night, the men looked so smart and didn't hear anyone complain about loosing clothes just laughing when working out who's was who's. Would def recommend going

I think it will be smart at Club Kiss but will be a brillent night .Last years was amazing and I think this will even be better .They have a chef in to do some party food this year and I'm sure it will go with a bang but have to book in early

Was planning on going out with my non swinging friends to a regular club or house party...reading all these comments is making me reconsider. Thinking I may have a lot more fun at my first nye swing fest event

Any suggestions apart from those mentioned for a man like myself
