Hey guys

We have been on here for 18 months or so and have had a few meets, a couple of gb's and a party. I usually do all the arranging and I'm getting sick fed up of the time, energy and cost of organising people, hotels etc etc Esp when people don't turn up

So now I am thinking I'd like to try a club -J is very hesitant as he's worried that it'll all be very seedy and out of control.

We are driving up from telford to glasgow on sat so I am thinking of stopping off at manchester and going to a club sat night.

Any top tips re venue and rules, advice etc would be greatly appreciated

Try Infusions , Blackpool or the Townhouse, the Wirral, if you don't want seedy - they're lovely. Z

I wouldn't suggest the Townhouse in the Wirral. It's not the nicest club or faculties but Infusions in Blackpool is a very nice club.

I would also suggest Chameleons in Darlaston as its a very busy club most days but on a Saturday night it's just couples allowed and its very busy and not at all clique. But that's just down the road from you so might not help with your journey lol

We have heard some nice stories about No3 in Chorley over the past few weeks and its on our list of clubs to visit.

I can't comment generally on clubs 'up North' but I have been to Chams and I personally think a newcomer to the club scene may find it a bit overwhelming. It's a lively, popular place but the rabbit-warren-like layout coupled with the large numbers that attend could be quite daunting to people who've never been to a club before.

That's an interesting comment, I've never been to Chams and that's put a different perspective on the place.

I must admit, I always wonder what newbies look for on their first visit to a club assuming that clenliness is a given. My mind always thinks that a newbie would enjoy a nightclub style club best first as in they can dres as sexy as they dare and as the night wears on decide to lose clothing if they wish, whereas a towel club means the guys down to a towel or shorts from the off, and in most cases ladies are don to thier undies shortly after arriving. Having said that I have seen plenty of couples take to towel swinging clubs like a duck to water....

The staff are friendly and the single guys are respectful compared to other clubs I've been to.

It is busy but we found that made us feel welcome as quieter clubs felt cliquey. The hot tubs are one place where people are very sociable.
