Hi just a suggestion but why isn't transgender an option when u create or edit profiles? I've spoke and Mey a few FTM trans lads on here that have to put TV as there is no Transgender option

Because if they are M2F then they put female. If they are F2M then they put male. They don't actually need the trans bit. They can declare that in thier bio if they wish.

This is has been raised billions times over the years on many threads. Fabs just need to be updated to have a distinct category, but prob there is litle in the way of financial incentive by the owners to do so. Also perhaps It’s just laziness. So TS/TV still gets lumped together.

OK I'm confused. You want to be accepted as a woman. You've gone so far as to become a woman legally, yet you've chosen to list yourself as TV/TG.

Why haven't you just put your profile as Woman?

You know what I do when I encounter someone who doesn't like the way I carry myself or my actions? So long as I'm not harming anybody, I tell them to kindly fuck off and go about my business.

To be concerned with what others think of you is to be controlled by them.

Yes. It's weak to change your ideas based on what someone else thinks. I'm not going to sugar coat reality. The only way anyone can confront issues with themselves is to do exactly that. Confront it, not hide from it.

I'm simply saying they shouldn't care what others think of them. If they get upset about that then maybe my original point about weakness stands?

That’s just your judgment, that anyone is hiding and weak minded.

The lady has probably had to confront many more situations and come under far more scrutiny that you or I.

Seems it’s just frustration coming across that a separate identifier does not exist. It’s really not difficult for the makers of the site to carry out.

The only weakness I’m seeing is the little boy spouting forth opinions on something he’s never experienced. I know more than one trans woman who chooses to identify thus to honour the journey she has lived, especially those who transitioned later in life.

I tell you one thing. If your attitude is what it means to be strongwilled, I’m really proud of my weakness.

Okay, so I'm ready for being called on bad names, but I think on a page like fab, transgender women and men should stay a separate category from men/women and it's for the sake of everyone here, including them too. Nothing discriminative or transphobe meaning in it, it's simply practical.

I, as a straight man, won't be interested in sexually interacting with a transgender woman. Other men might be interested, it's a personal choice and taste.

If I start a chat with someone whose profile says "woman" and I will not be told the truth but only notice that she is a trans woman when we actually meet up for a drink, I would feel betrayed and fooled. Probably I would still keep my reaction civil as I don't like to heart anyone but definitely will be upset and leave very soon.

Her night will be wasted too, so it's always better to be straightforward and honest from the beginning.

Okay, she can tell in her bio about it, but coz of the nature of this page, the difference between a born woman and a trans woman is significant enough to make it more practical if we separate them as genders, just as we separate women and men. (otherwise, it would be enough if I mention in my bio, that I'm a man????)

Being honest, for 99% of straight people trans men and women are not the same as "born" men and women and never will be. I mean, if we talk about sexual interaction. Because I'm always happy to accept them as they wish in everyday life.

Still, in my opinion, there are two parts of life where the borders between genders should not be blurred and ignored, but we need to be clear and honest with each other: one is dating/sex the other is sports. In these two it's simply unfair trying to hide it, and no, it's not transphobia, just common sense.
