We have been to both and it is definitely pleasures for us!

We love their theme nights as they tend to be busier. The next one is the 16th of april for the Easter Bunny Theme Night.

We plan on going to this one.

Pleasures hands down , great investment in the new dace area and now the new open orgy room with the new massive bed , and the owner is still investing in more improvements to cater for all the new people that keep attending every weekend , and loving the vibe of the place ,we’re be there on the 16th

"Any sign of the pool or hot tubs up and running yet?"

Pools is open most weekends , hot tubs are not in use due to the pool being open and heated ,

I love Pleasures. It's a great club. Steve is a genuinely lovely guy and the improvements he made over lockdown are amazing. The weekend parties are great.

However I also absolutely love Eureka as well. The acres of countryside and woods are beautiful and the outside pool is lovely, has been refurbished and will be heated throughout the summer.

The inside of Eureka has been completely refurbished creating a huge dance floor, the parties are really well attended and attracting a younger crowd and the weekend parties are attracting around 100 party-goers regularly.

This Summer will be amazing for Eureka, they have better everything. Better menu, better facilities, the best pool the best and biggest countryside and woods, the best staff and the finest parties. What's not to love?

The problem we found with pleasures is most of the people who go there or out of our age bracket. I guess we’re just getting old. It will be nice to find a couple who are there that are our sort of age late 60s

The Eureka club is an all inclusive space. Size, race, colour, flavour, width, height, religion and shoe size, whatever. All welcome. If you let me know when you're thinking of going I'll look after you and introduce you to everyone. X

I would question the agenda of those that on the one hand say that they would never go back to Eureka now that there has been a management change, and on the other hand they are commenting on how awful it is. How can they possibly know if they haven't been? I love Eureka and a lot of the other clubs as well. I think it is a really positive thing that they are all different, some a little bit less expensive, some are a little more pricey but not massively different. They are all different kinds of venues and of course have different operating costs, so it makes sense that the cost can vary. But I would suggest to anybody that they give each a try and make up their own mind. There's a special birthday tonight so it will be a big party night at Eureka tonight.

As for BYOB you wouldn't go to a pub and pull out a bottle of gin. You wouldn't go and sit in a cafe and pull out a flask of coffee. Eureka has a bar that charges pub prices. Which I can't see as a problem.

pleasures for me. unfortunately their rules still don't allow single males on a saturday which is a shame as all my old eureka friends now go there but I can't join them. and I'm definitely not going back to eureka. x

Ok, so you have completely devastated my analogy so let me give you a new one. If you took a bottle of whisky to a nightclub, they used to be called discos when I went to them, how well do you think that would go down? So you go to Tramp in Mayfair and you don't want to buy their pornstar martinis, you want to bring your own bottle of vodka. How do you think that will go down?

Eureka is transforming into the premium venue in the South of England and, to be fair, do you expect them to allow you to take in a bottle of gin when they are a licennsed premises. Do you take a party seven to your local pub and serve yourself, would you ask them for a glass? Do you go to Patisserie Valerie with your home made victoria sponge and a flask of coffee, plonk yourself at a table and tuck in? I don't think that would be very fair tbh

Come now your not talking sense be honest with people your making out that Eureka is a going to be a classy venue , we always loved the old ways , but the building it’s self will never be a premier club unless you knocked it down and built a new one , it’s old timber framed shed all be it a large one but still a village hall type scout hut building and as we said the people made the night not the facilities

Yes, it has been completely gutted and refurbished. I've seen it with my own eyes. It's all there ready for everyone to enjoy. Why would you not want it to be better than it was, I don't understand your thinking?

If you've decided that you don't want to go there ever again, why are you concerned. There are on going maintenance activities but to be honest those areas of the club are fine and just need to be maintained better than they were under the previous management. And they will be.

I'm sorry you think that way. But you are absolutely entitled to your opinion. I think Le Boudoir allow single guys on a Saturday night so maybe give them a try.

Well I went to Pleasures last night and I have to say it was absolutely amazing !

Steve has really invested in the Club. The new dance area and bar was excellent. The place was packed out and was lovely to see so many existing friends and meet new. Must have been 150+ people

Entry fee as a couple was £40 , you could take your own alcohol (put behind bar and numbered) and all you had to pay for was soft drinks.

Great night

That’s what they say it’s a premium club but in reality it’s just a paint job . We were regulars there but now prefer pleasures . It’s a personal choice
