Nervous but excited...

Any tips and friendly approaches on the evening will be welcome!

just be yourself.....

go there, talk to people, just see how it goes, talk to people, take in the atmosphere, talk to people!!

whatever you do, don't just stand there like a lemon, not saying boo to a goose and wandering round like a lost sheep...

Go and enjoy yourself. Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated and be approachable. I'm sure everybody will welcome a polite and well mannered conversation.
