Iv just seen an article on fb saying the attic is closing down. Is there any truth in this

Yes, the lovely building has been bought by a developer and I hear Ron has a few more months to relocate.

I hear too from the grapevine, a few local new locations are on the cards. Xxx

I’m in the construction industry and know the developer that’s brought the building, they are quite aggressive across the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas recently with their development plans.

They’ve got a post on LinkedIn saying words to the effect of ‘you can’t please everyone’ and ‘you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs’.

Unfortunately The Attic are suffering like so many do when they only lease the building and the landlord sells it.

I have also seen these comments and think that they shouldn’t be soo small minded and enjoying the media coverage that’s coming from it. Hopefully this will bring more revenue in for Ron to use towards moving premises instead into the developers pockets
