Can be quiet now. Sat night party night is prob busiest night (though a lot less since re-opening)

Really comes into its own in summer though. Extensive grounds (fields) and outside pool. Great for that all over tan.

I can vouch for that, naked, sexy fun, then a dip in the outdoor pool. Roll on summer.

When we went.. They insisted on paying membership fee before we arrived. When we got there we saw why. There was never more than 20 people including us and staff. We paid our couple entrance fee and sat with a few couples. We got on well with two but others there were not a bit of us and to be honest out us off. We were shown round by one of the nicer couples and every play room was empty. In all honesty if things don't change it will be closed in a year. I read elsewhere it's different in the warmer months.. It needs to be because what we saw was frankly shocking. We won't go back.

Zurich. NOT London.

I was always told if you can't say anything nice...

My suggestion would be have a look at The Vanilla Alternative or Pleasures in Kent.

the VA host outside event in summer called The Lux Lounge, that garden and bar shack is amazing, as was the view of the river.

The thing is that people tried so hard. Everyone wanted it to work but the new landlords just wouldn’t engage with people. By the time they realised they needed to listen it was too late. Eureka’s loss, Pleasures gain

Used to be fantastic and busy and if you didn’t pre bill a table in the morning by phone you wouldn’t get one!

We haven’t been back since new owners took it, we was members when it shut down to covid and never got chance to use that memebership, now they want £50 to rejoin plus entrance fee plus you can’t take your own drinks anymore making it a £200 plus night out for a empty club! Just not worth it, like a lot of us getting the time to go to a club is hard and you want to be going to somewhere you enjoy and busy!

Really is a shame as I miss eureka we always felt most at home there

We've been told on Fab that they requested to be removed ! Why ? One can only guess. Any publicity was supposed to be good publicity one was told. From various reports it is sadly a ghost of its former self.

All I know is I miss that place and of course the friends I was lucky to meet there.

Shame we can’t reverse time back to 2-3 years ago when it was probably the best club to go too….both during a hot sunny day to sunbathe and on a Friday and Saturday night to party.

Pleasures in wateringbury is now like a mini eureka with a lot of the old faces there .. and once the works are done with the new dance floor and bar area… then they will be on to a major winner.

The current owners were adamant (before they departed fab) that their club was strictly members only and very strongly resisted constructive feedback suggesting that they wave the joining fee for a "trial night" every so often, especially for couples who were looking at £50 just to join before they pay entrance and drinks. I believe at one point they said it was illegal for people to attend their club without being paid members.

But now the club is quiet/dying, suddenly it is OK for non-members to attend.... It's a bit late when your reputation is shot. I attend clubs regularly and have not heard one person speaking positively about eureka in the last year.

The club has always had a bad rap for being cliquey, even those in the cliques would tell you To only attend with a regular or be ignored all night

I thought the clique had gone along with one of the old owners but the club is still getting bad mouthed

The best thing anyone can do is try it for themselves & form their own opinion, especially if they are waiving the membership fee for the night

We had a similar experience. After we were shown around we were seated next to a couple who we wouldn't have normally sat next to. We tried to be friendly and start a conversation, however it all felt a bit awkward. (Maybe they didn't like the Mr lederhosen and Mrs German dress) The play rooms were empty and we struggled to talk to anyone. The Mrs was pestered by single guys in t-shirts every time she went to the toilet.

We probably just had a bad night. After that we only go to pleasures in Kent.

Hopefully pleasures have a German night so we can wear our outfits again!

We were also upset when they took away the couple only nights. I'm sure many people would still enjoy the night. However it doesn't match what we like to do.

Interesting to read. We've talk about visiting for a long time. What attracts us is the place in Summer time. The idea of being naked and free to enjoy the outdoor pool and fields. Being naturist and swingers just the idea that we won't be told off for getting frisky together or with anyone else. We really enjoy Silverleigh but obviously we have to behave ourselves and hasn't got the same out door facilities in the summer (but great place in the winter). But always kind of been put off by the membership, prices and things we've read. On balance we may give it a miss.

There’s a lot of negativity about the club in the evenings which I won’t comment upon but we always enjoyed our daytimes there in the summer and we’ll be returning at the first hint of warmth.

Membership free night is ideal time to try or go back again and should be busy!

If we all want it to be back how it was we should attend and prove the point?

What we like about it is they paid you up on table with a random couple who you might not of met otherwise, especially for us as we shy and don’t tend to mix otherwise

We mainly only go in the summer for outside naked sunbathing and frolics.

We will give it a try when the weather warms up. Saturday or Sunday daytime see what it's like.

Hopefully the daytime visits are still the same.

I went pre covid and had a godo time there.

Is there something in the lease that states it has to remain a naturist club, or have I imagined that? I hope it can get back to former glories, as in the summer its stunning there.

Easter weekend is looking rather pricey at £245 per couple plus £50 membership plus drinks plus food, all of which you have to buy there, you can't even take a bottle of water! Crazy stuff

We were planning to book to stay there for a few nights in the summer also, not for club nights as such but just to enjoy the outdoors, I’m really disappointed to read all this.

No way. Rio is clean, staff always cleaning and checking water levels etc, over lockdown has been updated too. yes guys are pushy but they are always pushy wherever you go. Out of Rio Silverleigh and Eureka by far the most cleanest nicest place for us would be Rio. We do love Silverleigh but is so dated and dirty in comparison.

They are not pushy “wherever you go”. Members clubs have strict standards and will eject single men who cause a nuisance.
