Hi we’re thinking of trying VA at some point but just wondering what to expect really. We’re pretty new to the club scene only been to jaydees so far x

We thought it was a very classy place and in fact thought it would be an ideal club to introduce someone a little “vanilla” to the club scene.

Has a nightclub vibe.

Downside for us was that all the playrooms / play areas are open.

There are rooms upstairs though that can be hired for a fee we believe?

VA and Jay Dee’s are apples and oranges. Jay Dee’s has lots of private play areas, a huge no play hot tub and a road house feel. VA is all open play, play hot tub and a upscale nightclub feel.

Both clubs have large areas that are more for socialising and most folks are dressed to impress. Play areas are typically sexy dress or less and hot tubs are, goes without saying, butt naked

We have been to both once and as has already been said they are very different feels. Both really great in their own way but Jaydees felt a bit more like we had been invited to someone’s house for a party. Couldn’t be nicer and more friendly but perhaps not quite as sexy from our perspective but I know from the forums it has a huge following and rightly so.

VA is much more of a nightclub feel but one where you can completely relax and be yourselves. So much more fun than an actual nightclub and obviously one part is where all the fun takes place.

Both our experiences have been that you are free to do as much or as little as you like in either club and everyone treats you with the utmost respect. VA for us just suited us a bit better and we are planning on returning very soon!

Absolutely love the VA and highly recommend it to anyone new to the club scene, despite the play rooms being open I find them fairly easy to avoid as I am in no way a Voyuer and I've felt comfortable everytime I've been, we're aiming to be monthly visitors this year if life allows We also book a room everytime we visit too!

Thank you I wasn’t sure whether it was like that or at a certain time everyone had to dress down. I hate pressure lol

From our experience there’s no pressure at all. You can stay in the bar area fully dressed for the duration and when we went some stayed fully dressed in the play areas although I didn’t think that was supposed to be allowed but definitely no pressure at all and you can do as much or as little as you like!

Even dressing down is up to your feelings, lingerie or towels or whatever you like really, certainly don’t need to be naked unless that’s your preference

One of the things we noticed about VA is that it's all open play. Worth noting because out in the open may not be for everyone, especially when new to it.

NOTTINGHAM

The V.A was the first club we visited 5 years ago and remains our favourite.

Always a very welcoming vibe, super clean and nicely appointed. As others have said, it pretty much just feels like a nightclub.

The open play areas suit us as we enjoy being watched, but might not be for everyone.

There are some slightly more private play areas, though these are still open and allow for people to walk in and out at will.

We'll be there for the Valentine's event on 12/02
