Disclaimer: this topic is FOR something and not against something, I do not intend to hurt anyone, but if I so - sorry.
I have such amazing memories from the old Kestrel/Abfab and wondering if we will get a club like that again ever?
Is that impossible to find a venue with outdoor garden/pool/hot tub in/around London that could get a license as a private, members only club? I'm pretty sure it could be profitable as a business, that club had a vibe that was second to none...
Whether if it was summer daytime enjoying the sun, or at the night, chilling in the pool after crazy sex, just floating on the water, listening to the music and looking at the stars, or even wintertime, freezy cold outside, but nice and warm in the steam of the hot tub! Such an atmosphere, I miss it so much!
And to be honest, also the crowd... Visited Friday night parties as a single guy and fell in love 2-3 times a night for sure! I even enjoyed my long walks back to Heathrow after the party, re-calling my fresh sexy memories! 
At those days it was true - you could meet people of all size and age. For now the fit and the young(ish), (under 45) disappeared.
It's definitely not the management's fault but the new venue feels as much "industrial" as "chic" and sexy the other was... Looking at the stars or looking at the ceiling with those huge pipes when you are in the hot tub, is just not the same...
I really wish that someone (maybe the current management of this new Kestrels) can find an outside venue once again, also bring back the lost part of their old clientire... Where are those girls/couples now BTW???
Single guy tickets for the weekend would be sold out by Monday evening again! I remember I had to make early decision if I wanted to attend a party, there was no chance to get a ticket on Tuesday...  |
