This maybe a strange one but how far do you drive to a club?

I do like a couple of beers but the club's are all so far away for public transport etc we do stop over now and again to attend but is there any designated drivers out there or can we set up a swing bus to get us to clubs

I drive 1.5/ 2 hours because I have none closer lol.

Always stay over though because it’s too much effort- ends up costing a fortune all the time though.

Get yourself in local kik groups that club and share lifts/ taxis and hotels works way better!

For me the drive to Jaydees is 2 hours. I'm not bothered about having a drink though so it isn't an issue for me other than having to drive home after the event unless I want to incur the expense of a hotel room.

I love the idea of sharing lifts, hotel expenses etc. It's something worth considering once I'm a regular at Jaydees and get to know a few more people.

We are not far from the clubs in Leeds and Manchester so usually just drive, Mr is designated driver and we often team up with other couples.

I’d like to attend a club and stay over in my motorhome, haven’t found one yet where it’s suitable park up near though.

Boston, Lincolnshire

We have to drive nearly two hours, as there are no clubs in the whole of Lincolnshire. The Attic is only 76 miles from home, but half of it is on minor roads, making it a 1hr 50min drive. Worth it though!

My go-to club Abfabs is 1 hour 20 mins from home. If the M25 is misbehaving, can be 2 hours or more.... I don't drink so usually will drive home after. Anything further away I always book a hotel - I love Jaydees but a 3 hour drive home after a party is just too much

The nearest clubs to me are 1 1/2 to 2 hours drive, which is a long way by yourself

We do it often, book air bnb or apartments and fill it

All go off and do our own things whilst there, just meet up and go together and stay over for the social side too. Good fun! X

Tend to drive, usually 1 1/2 to Pandora’s from our house, take zero alcohol beer, which works fine for me, still feel like you’re having a beer, without the side effects.

We generally like a beer and have a club in walking distance which is handy. Generally we book a room for the night at the club (if it's one with accommodation like Chameleons) or in a local hotel. However we did drive to Chameleons (about an hours drive away) the other day and had a sober driving session on a last minute whim. That worked well too. So we are of the mind we may drive more often to clubs. Which creates more opportunities for us, especially last minute. Although I would want more than a 2 hour each way journey. A longer than 2 hour sucks after a big night out. I think we will still a stop over and drink for big party nights though. A lot of people we've meet on the scene drive to clubs from all over. It's very normal and if you ever see the car park at the Attic on a busy night you'll get a feel for how many do drive.

Yes, I can vouch for that, just bring your own and always make sure the bottle has a blue label or alcohol free on it.

Keep your taste buds happy and keep your licence.

Or just book a play room for £20 and bring your own bedding.

Oh wow! I didn't know that was an option. That sounds perfect for me.
