Hi guys

Wife wants to go to a club but is very shy of her body. Were were virtually on the cusp of going to a Club until her mate told her "You'll be expected to Walk round in stockings, suspenders & Bra etc". Wife just doesn't fancy that. So, while it is probably contradictory that we are looking for a 'Tame' club please does anybody know of a Club (or indeed a social night) where it is not uncommon for ladies to stay fully dressed. Of course, playtime is a different matter and she'd fully expect to get naked during play. She just doesn't fancy walking round in front of 30 - 40 people. Yes, I know everybody else is in the same Boat but this is just her personal prefernce.

Hi,

From experience some clubs allow you to socialise in the bar area fully dressed and then you can simply change to a towel if not comfortable with wearing lingerie and being on show.

In the north west this is true in Partners,Infusions and in the No.3 club.

Hope this gives your wife a little more confidence to go

Around Manchester, the answer would be no, as all the clubs are towel clubs and use the rational that this is a leveler, ie everyone dressed the same. In essence this means guys in towels or shorts in some cases and most ladies in various forms of underwear.

Further afield, there's Atlantis Evolution and Adventures in Lust, both in Stoke which are nightclub venues, which essentially match the criteria you have stated in your OP, both require the male to be dressed smart casual too.

And further afield again is Ctasia in West Brom (J1 of M5) which again is a nightclub style club, one that I am a member of and very good. It's a bit like a nightclub with benefits....lol

Going back to the Manchester clubs, while they are towel clubs they all have different things to offer. For example the one I go to is Adam & Eves, it's a pretty basic club when compared to some of the others but is very friendly, has a smaller number of people there so you may not find it so off putting and works well. Cupids has had a massive refurb over last 12 months and has rooms like dogging and camera rooms and Partners probably has the biggest wet zone in the North West.

Each has there own pull, each are different, some like them all, some hate one club and love another, you'll have to try em to decide whats best for you.

why not try the no.3 club on a thursday night.Its a social night until 10pm so everyone is fully dressed then if you want to get changed and play you do.

gives you the chance to view the club and get to know people without any pressure.

Your wife could always wear a very long towel, or even a chemise. That way she doesn't have to show any of her middle body to anyone if she chooses not to

TOWNHOUSE in the Wirral, Merseyside has a dress down policy at 11pm for those that wish to venture upstairs to the playrooms

Those who prefer to stay downstairs in the social areas can wear as much or as little as they wish

Thanks everybody for the messages here and the PM's. There's a lot of good suggestions. Don't get me wrong... We know what to expect, we know these are Swinging clubs, we know this is a Swingers site. However, my Wife is very private when it comes to sex & showing off her body. Of course, during play, like a lot of ladies, she relaxes and has no problem showing off but I guess it's just the initial nerves that don't help. Finally, the suggestions that intrigue us are the nightclub style Clubs. The reason I say this is because Wife is also a Tad worried she may bump into someone she knows (She's a travelling Sales Exec and is well known in her industry), but if I have read it right then maybe if we were in one of these nightclub type clubs she could always claim we 'Stumbled' on the Club by accident should she bump into a customer/Client etc.

Well JaynenWayne, I don't want to burst your bubble over the "Nightclub" type swinger clubs. They are clearly swinger clubs and you wouldn't accidently wander into one mitaking it for a nightclub you might find in any major city or town. The defination of a "Nightclub" style club is because you dress up in a way that you would go to a nightclub, except the women are perhaps more sexily dressed ie some do choose to wear lingerie, most wear very very short dresses that are very revealing, and even for a guy that has been out in Liverpool City Centre on a Saturday night, where most people claim the girls wear no clothes, believe me they are overdressed compared to a "Swingers Nightclub stle club".

As for the concerns your wife has about being recognised. Well its a thing that concerns many people. The reality is it's very unlikely that you would actually bump into someone you knew, but if you did it's a bit of a Catch 22 situation as in almost everyone I know likes to keep their swinging activities private so if that unlikely event was to happen, I think your wifes aquaintance may well be as keen as your wife to keep it quiet.

If you ever get to Leeds Isis has a bar area where you can just socalise fully clothed many do this some decide to venture into rooms some just stay and chat,it's no pressure you just do what you feel comfy in.

I've been researching daytime clubs...and it apperas that the Honeycombe sauna in blackpool is very good and cheap. It is a gay/bi sauna but I think straight couples are allowed...no straight men...unless your looking for something specific...haha
