So you need to prove you've had both covid vaccines either by card or on the NHS app and they also take your temperature on the door.

They don't accept the card as proof. Has to be a covid pass either on paper or on the app. If you are not fully vaccinated then you need proof on the gov.uk website of a negative lft taken within 24 hours of entry.

I have been there twice since they reopened and haven't had my temp taken that I can remember.

The rules are clearly stated on their website and if you ring them they will clarify anything for you.

Great news, with the government’s recent announcement we have decided to open Darlaston on 19th July. We will require either a negative test registered on the gov website (within the past 24 hours) or a full vaccination passport as per government guidelines to gain entrance to the club. Please note a couple of changes, the pay and display car park will be free for Chameleons customers. We will now be closed every Tuesday for maintenance and servicing. This will allow us to carry out any upgrades/maintenance without disruption to the club. We look forward to welcoming you back safely. We are hoping to open Newport on August 7th following the Welsh government’s latest announcement.

Taken directly from the landing page of their website. Found withing 10 seconds of googling

Oh that's interesting. I was under the impression the card wasn't sufficient as can be easily forged. It's easy enough to get a pass either on the NHS app or request one through the post.

Went to the theatre on Saturday and they were still taking the cards a proof but said that was changing soon.

I'm going on the 9th and wanted to clarify this so emailed them.

This was part of the reply:

"We will require either a negative test registered on the gov website (within the past 24 hours) or a full vaccination passport (the cards are perfect) to gain entrance to the club."

So, the cards are fine as proof.

Enjoy!

We went a few weeks ago and they asked for a covid passport but signal was bad at the time so they accepted our cards.

Ner ner! Told you Evie

I've only been 3 times since it opened, showed the app and card first time along with having temperature taken and then subsequent times they have accepted the card alone and recognised us both as we went in anyway

Evie I'm a nurse I know all about the app lol. But thanks and yes when they first opened all you needed to show was the vaccination card and there was no temperature checking either, that can show false information anyway, it's not always pyrexia that is indicative of infection, hypothermia readings are also indicative of severe infection xxx. Just saying

You can show your vaccination card on entry. Or Asda behind chams has LFTs for free. They will accept that as proof, when we went they said lots turn up untested or without ID of vaccine and they send them to Asda to do the 10 min LFT xxxx. However if in any doubt, ring the club and get info direct from the horses mouth. That's what we do.

I hope that being recently jabbed will not end up with positive test

Lol of course it won't. I'm keen to see what happens with my results as my vaccination runs out in November..... Wonder if it will switch to my booster record now, as I've had the booster too.
