Dress up vs dress down clubs

We have experienced a couple of club visits but always in dress down venues.

We were talking about other potential places to explore and got looking at some that aren’t dress down.

Now part of us thought this would maybe be helpful in not feeling as self conscious but also thought the interruption of needing to change/undress to play could be awkward

Any thoughts?

Clubs that we know that have no dress down rule are The Attic, Xtasia, Atlantis, Jaydees, there must be others too. Some others have a dress down rule just in the playrooms area. It's definitely not awkward, it's like opening a present!

we are the opposite onmy ever been to dress up place, i find it fine, you get to look hot and sexy and by a certain time most people are dressed down anyway. No issues with play as tend not to wear that much anyway lol.... Men may find it a bit more difficult...

One reason we love The Attic so much is that we can really dress up, then later - usually after playing - spend the rest of the night undressed.

We play with single guys, but chose them largely based on how they're dressed, so dress down clubs don't really work for us.

Chameleons in West Mids is dressed down type.

Men wear trunks or just towels and women.....Typically very nice exposing lingerie.

We both prefer a dressed down clubs. Marc does not need to think about what to put on

Women are typically showing more than in dressed up clubs.

As a woman, you also know what you take

Tried one of the above non dress down clubs with my FB and it was a no no. Playing in open rooms with people stood in street clothes left me cold and icky. Also worried about hidden phones. Maybe I’m used to dress down but definitely won’t repeat. Hid in a locked room orgy instead

We feel the same. Really don't enjoy dressed clubs. Dressed down feels much more relaxed. However if we all liked the same things life would be very dull lol x

Cheshire isn't the most blessed county for clubs. If you're happy to be mobile, then look at the Clubs section, where you can see each of the venues. The Townhouse is phenomenal. Each club sets membership and entrance rules, with some having different entry policies by night of the week. Expect to need to apply for membership and to provide ID. It will often be needed in advance of your trip. Many clubs are better thought of as an investment in to regular visits over the year, rather than a once off trip - due to the need for advanced joining, the fees and day of the week clientele rules.

Definitely in the dressed down camp. Takes away a little bit of label snobbery in my view. Feels like everyone is a little more equal. I know some people may be in better physical shape than others (using societal norms) but you can tell that with clothes too.x

I know that many clubs are relaxed about dressing down but some (Libs) have areas where you aren't allowed to be dressed down. Any idea which clubs have this rule?

Finding the balance important - the club we frequented in Madrid was "wet venue" so all naked or just a towel - that can be very erotic in its own way. x Anne & George
