Silverleigh. Advice requested.

Hi all,

We used to be members of Kestrels when it was at Heathrow. We've been regulars at Eureka, but not been back since they changed ownership, although we're thinking of getting membership.

Just wondering if anybody can give us advice about Silverleigh. We need a couple of nights away after all of this covid nonsense, and Silverleigh looks great for a couple of nights away. Is it a good party atmosphere like Eureka on a weekend? Is it "in the scene" rather than just naturist? When's the best night to go?

Hiya, I tried to reply privately but I'm outside your age range so can't do that.

I like Silverleigh - it's definitely at least a bit swingy, although like Eurekas you get sort of half and half naturists and swingers there.

They have a porn room though, which Eureka hasn't had for years now so they're winning on that score.

The parties, though I've never been to one, are apparently very sociable events with playing on the side - there are two or three (small!) playrooms that you can disappear into, and the steam room is exciting as it gets so foggy in there that you can't see who's touching who...

Sorry I can't answer your question fully but I hope this helps - anything else you want to know, do feel free to ask (even though I may not have all the answers)

Brilliant, I too have wondered about the venue, so glad someone was able to give an insight. Would have hated to cause offence if it was only for naturists and not playing

Just a quick update - post-lockdown, the TV in the back room that used to show porn is no longer showing porn. Seems to be a change of policy on that front

However, if Cash in the Attic or Bargain Hunt float your boat you might be okay…

Haha, oh.. well that's a shame, it used to be fun in there sometimes!

...and they already used to have Cash In The Attic on in the other room, sith the sofa in it, so this is doubley disappointing.

Silverleigh is a lovely friendly place to chill and relax, but whilst a little play does happen, I’d say it was more naturist than swingers. Certainly not like Abfabs or Eurekas. Great thing about the new Abfabs is it’s right next door to a hotel. Downside is lack of outside area if weather is nice but for a proper swingers night out Abfabs is my preference, then Eurekas, and if I want to just chill quietly in a spa, the Silverleigh.
