"Its a case of use your own discretion. No jabs or card required as proof on entry. Common sense and your own judgement comes into play when visiting. To each, their own, and all that." Just for the record, I'm double jabbed and will be there later to meet friends

"Its a case of use your own discretion. No jabs or card required as proof on entry. Common sense and your own judgement comes into play when visiting. To each, their own, and all that." The thing for us as classed as vulnerable is a mitigation. I hear so many anti vaxxers at work saying if they have symptoms they'd still be going out and not getting tested. When in a club you are in close proximity of all unlike a supermarket where you pass people quickly. Can't really compare a swingers club with a supermarket as some are trying to do. We have found 2 clubs that have the duty of care in place for their staff and customers. By end of September all clubs will have to confirm under the new government laws that will come in. As some one just said each to their own and our own is to try and stay as safe as we can but we know everyone is at risk in these tough times.

"I’m thinking of going back to The Attic this weekend. Does anyone know if you need to be double jabbed to enter? I am and would feel happier if I knew everyone else was. " Why would you feel safer? Does everyone else on the road wearing a seat belt make you feel safer wearing one?

Some have the flu jab, some don't. If people have symptoms of a cold or flu, most use the common sense of staying indoors and getting better, but not everyone. Look at it another way. Are the ones with STI's sat at home or in the clubs? You won't know until its too late. Just let everyone do their own thing and use your own judgement and instinct when doing your own thing

"The Attic have made their choices. People have their choices too. Either go or don't. Its as simple as that " Exactly... Why do people have to question what others do. We would prefer Attic to have the duty of care, they don't, so we choose somewhere else, doesn't make anyone bad people. " We were at Wembley Stadium last Saturday, everybody was supposed to be double jabbed or so called proof of negative test. So we were all ready with our covid passport. CDC (Centre for Disease Control)CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky cited unpublished data from recent days suggesting that vaccinated people may be able to spread the Delta variant just as easily as unvaccinated people. What the CDC means is that the vaxxed and unvaxxed have similar amounts of viral particles in their noses and throats, making them equal risks to infect the people around them. So your statement may lull people into a false sense of security!

A diet of 18 months of media coverage some useful, most fear mongering, 18 months of behaviour modifications... Takes some unwinding for a lot of us. 18 months of being told by media "we don't really know what's going to happen, but we know we need to be worried and cautious" has had an impact.

That's because when you were jabbed it secretly updated your phone at the same time and when you walked through the turnstyle at Wembley it read your phone and knew you had your jabs and where and when.... Isn't it? Or is it that they are choosing not to check covid passes yet? Do you think its a Wembley specific issue or all stadia will have it?

So your statement may lull people into a false sense of security! Even if it was true, 75% isn't exactly a lot. If I was at the club and said to someone hey I've got an STD but if you wear a condom there's 75% chance you won't catch it-I should imagine they'd be highly put off. But if I just watched and wanked, I wouldn't catch an STI, but if someone coughed near me I might get Covid Can you imagine that mutant strain? The Attic strain... Covyddhia... *other strains are available" Watch what you are saying about a new Attic strain, people believe all sorts they read on the Internet.

"Its a case of use your own discretion. No jabs or card required as proof on entry. Common sense and your own judgement comes into play when visiting. To each, their own, and all that. The thing for us as classed as vulnerable is a mitigation. Why would you want to go if you are classed as vulnerable? As we are fully aware you can still catch it and pass it on regardless of being double jabbed. Being double jabbed is only useful for that person as it hopefully reduces the symptoms. So someone not jabbed is making their own informed choice and putting themselves at higher risk no one else. Jesus how many times do folk have to be told this. Jabbed 75% less chance of passing it on. We haven't made our final decision yet but life has to continue at some point and as Attic, which is what this thread is about, haven't got any duty of care in place we won't be picking them, shame as it was our favourite club. Hey ho times have changed and so have we. I you do your research I think you'll find your 75% less chance of passing it on a complete myth..totally false. Even if it was true, 75% isn't exactly a lot. If I was at the club and said to someone hey I've got an STD but if you wear a condom there's 75% chance you won't catch it-I should imagine they'd be highly put off. But for clarity... All characters and clubs in these posts are fictional and any similarity to people or places is entirely coincidental... Having said that if a virus can jump from a bat to a human in a wet market... Imagine what it can do from a cock to a pussy in a meat market... Herd immunity is the answer... See what I did there?

"I’m thinking of going back to The Attic this weekend. Does anyone know if you need to be double jabbed to enter? I am and would feel happier if I knew everyone else was. Why would you feel safer? Does everyone else on the road wearing a seat belt make you feel safer wearing one? Does wearing a seat belt stop you catching covid? Awesome. " It’s an analogy to protecting yourself not others! Obviously went over your head sorry

"So folks who go to house parties - do you not go unless everyone is doubled vaxxed? Makes no sense at all." Just as we are as sad as we are that we won't go to Attic, we wouldn't go to a house party either. Hope that helps with you making any sense of how people are getting back to their new normal

"So folks who go to house parties - do you not go unless everyone is doubled vaxxed? Makes no sense at all." In fairness.it's not that hard to get everyone to take an lft in advance. It's what my kids have been doing for their (normal) parties for the last month. They have someone who's task it is to make sure they have all done it and reported it... Now will some cheat it? maybe...but if students can do it I'm sure adult swingers can manage it... If they want to of course.
