Hey,

I'm new to the scene and want to go to a club but very nervous about going. I am single so will be going on my own.

Any advice?

If you do a forum search on ‘New to Clubs’ there are pages of threads, there’ll be loads of great advice there.

Thank you, will do that now. Kind of feel like an idiot for not thinking of that.

My biggest suggestion is don’t be a dick! Don’t follow couples / females around and behave like a walking wanking dead zombie! if you see a female / couple go into a room / hot tub, don’t then go diving in straight after them!

Approach people, talk to them and behave in a reasonably rational manner, and I’m sure your have lots of fun. Don’t and don’t be surprised you ends up lonely and tugging one off when back home!

I wouldn’t suggest it! it’s usually the males that have to make the first contact, speak to females and couples. But don’t have preconceptions that all females / couples want to play. The clubs are not knocking shops, just because they are there, doesn’t mean they want sex! Some purely like the social side of swinging, some like to watch, and yes others like to play. But usually it’s through mutual attraction, not “a pulse” thing.

Approach people, talk and be willing and able to hold a conversation. Don’t expect anything and if anything happened then fine, if not, then also fine.

Agree with what Spartan says. We do always make an effort to speak to newbies at Chams as we know it can be daunting. The bar is a great place to chat as is the smoking area even if you're not a smoker. Check with the club you want to go to if they're accepting new single male members. Some clubs however don't require membership.

Also check entry requirements in terms of covid jabs/tests etc

Oh no don’t. These threads can be hit and miss, sometimes you get replies and sometimes you don’t. So just in case you don’t, you know you can look in the others.

I’d say if you’re not quite outgoing in nature you might find it uncomfortable

We messaged club owners on here or the profiles that ran the nights we wanted to attend, maybe a local social night might be a better start as it’s a bit less daunting and you can speak to people face to face about the clubs they prefer and their experiences.
