Chams entry for part of couple

I can’t find the answer to this on the Chameleons website.

If you have a couples membership for the club, can just one of you use it for entry, if the other part of the couple is not able to attend?

I’m thinking daytime more than an evening visit.

Stretton and notts

No as that would make you a single male. Or a single female.

I have two memberships for this reason.

I thought that likely to be the case. But some other clubs allow it.

I think you can... I know I've gone as a single and pretty sure my ex has on the couples card but I'd ring them and ask xxx

Nope…as a make it different rules, as male prices are higher.

Your need both memberships if you want to attend on your own.

I have a vague recollection that a lady can go in on a couples membership but a man cannot, even if paying a higher entry fee.

Clubs like Jaydees allow both parts of a couple to use their membership for single entry, and simply charge the singles price for entry. They recognise that some couples are happy for each other to attend clubs alone, when the other person isn’t free to attend.

But a lot, if not most, treat men and women differently. Making the male part of a couple pay membership to attend solo, but not the lady.

As a members only environment they are allowed to do that and are not subject to equality rules.
