We are giving AbFabs a miss from now on and hoping it gets its mojo back at some point." so as a cpl thats been to cpls night what would you suggest the owner's do to make it more appealing its all well and good saying numbers well down wash out if you know what will change it let them know i am sure they are open to ideas | |||

Loads of people replied making some awesome, easy, cheap suggestions on how to improve the place. Private rooms being one of them ( ie not with windows ) and guess what? They ignored every single suggestion. We run a client facing business ourselves, and we listen and react to them. If you don't, them your sunk. They asked for ideas on how to improve the place on their lockdown blog. Loads of people replied making some awesome, easy, cheap suggestions on how to improve the place. Private rooms being one of them ( ie not with windows ) and guess what?

We run a client facing business ourselves, and we listen and react to them. If you don't, them your sunk. Honestly if the place is still open by winter we will be amazed."Sadly we have to agree. It was our first time attending and most likely will be our last. No one really socialising let alone playing. While a few people we spoke to were friendly, we feel it lacked a host to integrate people. There is a good (not great) selection of things and places to play but with so few couples in such a big place, it seemed quiet and lacklustre. For a Saturday night we had far greater expectations. | |||

Ouch. I discovered abfabs partially due to an injury and being recommended sauna and hot tub to help with the pain.
Perhaps your aching tendon would welcome a soak "Absolutely it would! My (ordinary) bath is barely cutting it at the moment, despite having it as hot as I can handle. However it's the getting there and back as well as moving between areas while there that would be the killer, especially on wet floors. Hopefully it will improve over the next few days | |||

"We used to go few years a go and always had a good night. So we joined on line as directed by Web site but No reply. So called to speak to someone to check and still no reply. So we text and no reply still. We said what the he'll they did always seem to be a bit haphazard getting back to you we will just pop over. Just popping being a hours drive after we had arranged sitters for the kids. When we got there we were told need two covid jabs proffs which is not a problem but we didn't have on us so they said download the app which we did. And then turns out takes up to 7 days to verify who you are ffs. Why can't they put a message on their site if they require all this as it fucked our whole evening up and we probably won't bother again there now due to their lack of communications. No wonder some clubs struggle shouldn't be in business we made every attempt to contact them fucking hopeless private meets and hotels could be the way forward ". I agree it’s not good business practice in today’s world it shouldn’t be that difficult to reply to a email or txt message after all it’s the preferred way of communication these days.This morning at 2.46 am to be precise I received a email from Kestrels / AbFabs regarding their Sunday BBQ on 5th September and on the email it does have a part that says Covid19 checks and what they require and it does say proof of double jab , PCR test , exemption certificate.Sadly too little too late for yourselfs | |||

Even on event bright just before you press confirm there is an info box that states please check website for covid entry requirements. | |||

A club night is what you make it. If your going to go to a club and expect to play, that’s the wrong attitude and your get nowhere. Ladies and couple can see that a mile off and I’m not talking about the wanking dead at clubs either. A club night is what you make of it, whether on your own or as a couple. Chat socialise and see what happens. Some of my best nights have been spontaneous events. Whether it’s a quiet night or a busy one. | |||
