So are they selecting people based on appearance? " They’ve always had a selection policy since day one, plenty of febrile debate on here about that. Their are many opinions on that but presumably you were OK with that previously? So it was ‘the best club’ now you’ve been refused entry its to be ‘avoided’. So are they selecting people based on appearance? " I would not avoid it based only on your post, by any means. Personally I have only been once and it left a rather lukewarm impression on me. People did not speak with me much and it felt rather hostile and cold, not like the friendly atmosphere of my favourite fetish clubs that I am used to. Once I went to explore and went to the dungeons some of those very same people who have completely ignored me up to then formed a gaggle and followed me about. It looked and felt absurd. I am grateful that at least the DM was very competent and accepting his offer of an impact session saved my evening! Now I am really uncertain whether I will go again. I cannot invite any men I know as the massive discrepancy in pricing would make me embarrassed on Le Boudoir's behalf to even discuss. They were also extremely rude in their communication with me over the membership details when I asked some questions so overall I am really doubtful that I would go again unless with someone who already has a membership and loves the facilities (I have not idea how the new venue looks like). Or else I might attend one of the fetish events they seem top be hosting in partnership - but first I need to find out what these fetish events are like. | |||

Over the years there have been plenty of threads about people applying for membership at Le Boudoir and been turned down the majority felt it was to do with their appearance , body size and looks. I have applied twice a year apart and both times was rejected as the email said they were over subscribed with single guys.On both occasions I was disappointed but I accepted their decision and moved on. | |||

"We went there a few times per covid. The venue was brilliant and the people good looking. However I found it very cliquey and cold, the management a bit rude too. Don't think we can justify the costs anymore" Ultimately these conversations are all a bit redundant. Ive been toAbFabs, found it cliquey and the staff were....odd. VA, great place medium cliquey! Hellfire, should be amazing but always almost empty. Found LB fine and you can monitor for clique-ness! People will naturally want to talk to people they know, ive not found it that way but others may have. It’s been sold out since its return so take that as an endorsement i guess. | |||

D & S x " DITTO THIS! Understand people get rejected and it has a selection process. But guess that’s how it is. We do love it there. We have tickets for this Saturday but not seeing the usual flurry of attendees on here saying they are going so no idea if it’s going to be busy or not. Odd times in the UK with messaging etc on clubs. | |||

I know as old members we have had to reapply and I am sure unfortunately some previous members may not get new membership granted. It might be just that they have far too many male members at the moment. So might be worth trying in a few months with a different picture. I know a friend of ours who was not excepted and sent in a different picture and was accepted. We are going on the 30th and can’t wait. I have always found the club friendly and super fun. The new venue is incredible. | |||

The initial poster has a story about why he was refused, great. That’s his story. How many threads on here are full of tales of misbehaving guys? Personally a club turning away custom because they want to ensure a good club experience should be encouraged. So what are Fridays like? I know it’s impossible to forecast what it will be like, but is it a friendly club where you can chat or is it a bit clique with us single guys treated as a pariah

The club does NOTHING about it so the couples and girls are understandably pissed off. At LB they will kick the guy out (if they spot it of course or its reported), they have a waiting list for guys so they can afford to be quiet assertive in their policy. "I’ve travelled far and wide with work, so I’ve no issue striking up friendly conversation with strangers and passing the time making new acquaintances I think with clubs, you find somewhere that you feel comfortable in and keep returning for that reason. As for the allegations in this thread that you may be in some way receiving some benefit for supporting the club bizarre. Clubs tend not to be short of customers (unless they are truly bad, but even they seem to do ok) and the backing of a single guy in the scene carries little or no weight. I will try and get tickets for the date I’m down and maybe if you’re there say hello | |||

Otherwise, it's a private club and they can admit and refuse anyone they like. If it's not a match, there are loads of other clubs, groups and parties to try. | |||
