Clubs allowing play?

Are there any cubs open that are allowing play? I believe groups of 6 are allowed indoors and, though it will no doubt get a negative from the boris puppets, I am fed up with the idiot taking away our liberties and want to enjoy my life whilst I can. If he can't see that people have had enough of it he needs to go in a pub when the footy is on and see just how many people are sticking two fingers up to him.

So back to the question. Any clubs open that are treating people as adults?

Go on the clubs forum... there’s at least 2 I know of being open and allowing it... everyone’s verifying everyone so can clearly see who’s open and who isn’t lol x

All the clubs had no/little revenue for 15 months,only thing worse for them now is open up for just 6 people with all the overheads still needed to run a club,that would be financial suicide,IMO.

how are they breaking the rules when the rule of 6 is allowed and the government clearly said that casual sex was allowed again from the 14th May ?? , i understand people still very cautious , and the answer is if you don't want to go to a club then don't and if you are comfortable with it go and have some fun , there were 10 times more people in the pub for the footy on Sunday than at most clubs ive been to before or during covid

Oh you think clubs are able to police groups of six not mixing with others. Just have to read the reviews on here. Social distancing and mask wearing is still very real inside.

I'm probably being stupid here but will say it anyway

But I was under the impression that if you were in a bar/restaurant currebtky you needed to be seated and if you were seated eating or drinking you didn't need a mask but if you got up to go the the toilet, leave etc you were required to wear a mask

Now I know clubs don't fall under the same categories but surely they fall under something similar so does that mean people are wandering around clubs in masks (possibly not if sitting with a drink) or if in a spa type place are masks needed when wandering between say the changing rooms and the hottub etc

I totally appreciate that clubs need to be open if possible to generate much needed income but I just don't see how masks can create a sexy vibe that would make me want to go off and play

Yes masks are still required at any indoor venue when not sat at a table

Casual sex is allowed, however, only some. Venues have the facilities to match the safe criteria. Lux Lounge is open at VA and if you want to play it has to be within your bubble and only when safe and adequate space is available.

People that are worried about whats going on at the clubs there is a simple solution just dont go. But dont try tarnish clubs when everyone within a venue is an adult and are responsible for there own actions. Me personally i just seen an athlete nearly lose his life in front of the world playing football. Lifes too short to be catting about who is sleeping with who and what clubs should and shouldnt be doing.

exactly , the clubs that are open have specific rules in place regarding masks - rule of 6 ect but is legally allowed to play within those rules and are being implemented so if your comfortable with that then great and if not then wait another month or so or just dont go again its up to us as individuals to make the choice and not be critisised for it

Took the word's right out of my mouth. Local updates says it all. BDSM event advertised not sure how that will work.

Just because people are verifying each other, it does not necessarily mean they played. Clubs are great as a social scene, too. We have a club veri from Saturday when we went to Lux Lounge. It's from a lady that we met there in the hot tub, we chatted but nothing more happened. We'd happily meet her again just for social. As it is an amazing experience, going to a club where we are all treated as adults. Also, as per their manager's post on a thread before (that unfortunately got removed for some reason), the PHE signed off on all their risk assessments, including casual sex one, before they were allowed to open in their current capacity.

The club I've been to since it reopened has strict no play rule, you wear masks anywhere except your table and there is table service so no crowds at the bar.

Some of us are fully able to act like adults and enjoy social time.

If you want to carry on shagging, book a hotel. It's not worth clubs losing their livelihoods over.

The majority of clubs (when opening fully) are classed as nightclubs, which cannot operate under current rules. Those that are open are opening in a social capacity as a bar, not a club and the table service etc rules apply.

If some are allowing play then that’s up to them. They must feel they can operate safely and within the rules as ultimately all club environments are different. I know the clubs I visit have to put out announcements that their licensing councils are not letting them fully reopen yet.

There are supposed to be but I have heard that some clubs are allowing play. I don't understand how they can do that and stay within the rules.

Can someone tell me why the pub I was in watching the footy yesterday was busy with people coming in with no masks on, walking around without them on and cheering and jumoing up when a goal was scored. And its not an excaption Ive been to plenty of pubs and shops exactly the same! People have had enough of it. Im not asking for a club that is advertising play im asking about a club that turns a blind eye to it. OMG do I mean break the law? Yep thats excatly what I mean and if you dont like it dont go there or sit in the corner with your useless mask on (Isnt that what they told us last year masks did no good?)and watch the rest of us having fun! Im sure theres more freedom in a communist state right now.

I've had enough of covid but I wouldn't purposely break the law and risk getting a club closed down just to get laid. You can easily take someone back to a hotel.
