So I’ve been reading through a few threads, anyone actually know what chams is going to be like when it opens initially have there been any announcements at all, thanks in advance, and hope to see you there soon

Or a cocky realisation that people just love the place as it is and they simply need do nothing. It always amazing me when you getting talking to people in there the distances some have travelled to be there. We know a couple in there frequently who travel over from Ireland.

The more I've read about people's views of it, the gladder I am that we're so close. Still a £30 uber home though!

Probably because they don't have a licenced bar and the layout they will unfortunately have to wait til the local authority gives them the green light to reopen. Hopefully end of June..weve provisionally booked a room for first last Friday in June in hope...

Replying from my single account, but first attended with my husband and we joined at the door. Phoned first to check, and it was just a case of bringing ID and paying membership & attendance.

Then when we were happy there as a couple and comfortable enough I started going on my own as well, again just joining on the door.

Much more difficult for the single guys though!

The Robin Hood which is about 5 minutes away is a decent place, apart from that not many actually in Darlaston. Beat looking for some a couple of minutes drive x

I drove 3 and half hours to visit Chams a few years ago. Stayed for a long weekend. Had a great time and my only grumble is WHY is it not on my doorstep? Lol. I would be there every week!

Until they have a date confirmed that they can open they won't just offer a best guess...yes it's looking like the final easing of lockdown June 21st or such.....but who knows what might happen between now and then...so until confirmed no opening date as yet..

The village 0ff junction 10, 2 travel lodge/premier inns I think, but chams has accommodation

There’s limited rooms at chams but great when you can stay. There’s 4 main stream hotel local to the motorway junction usually well priced and a taxi is very cheap to from

Replying from my single account, but first attended with my husband and we joined at the door. Phoned first to check, and it was just a case of bringing ID and paying membership & attendance.

Then when we were happy there as a couple and comfortable enough I started going on my own as well, again just joining on the door.

Much more difficult for the single guys though!"

I must of been lucky, or my face fitted, as I asked on the door if I could become a member, was told single males are usually on a waiting list to join, but go on then.

"We’re hoping to make our first visit to Chams as soon as it’s open again, it will be our very first club visit. Is it acceptable for Mrs to wear a bodysuit like in our pics with a Lacey eye mask? She says she would feel more comfortable like this.. just wondered what the dress attire is like.

You'd be quite surprised quite how much some women wear. Long semi-sheer dresses etc. Not necessarily in the spirit always, but they get allowed.

I don’t mind a Friday night. I think if you are direct with single guys that you aren’t interested in and tell them thanks but no thanks, then I’ve never found they cause an issue. X

Yes they seem to have the balance just right ... it’s weird to read other clubs seem to have troubles with rogue single guys and hike their prices (like that’s a good filter !) or you can only go as the guest of a couple etc

If you're after single guys, come on a Friday, if not, stick to Saturday's.

Before lockdown it seemed Friday was becoming the new Saturday night, couples were becoming more visible than ever

I don't mind loads of couples on a Friday as long they don't bitch about the amount of single men.

I read that as from when they very first open, whatever day that is, until Friday comes around.
