Lodge, Gloucester

I gues what we would like to ask you all is, is this place any good? we are thinking of trying it for the first time on saturday night.

We are existing members of chams so have been on the club scene already but we thought we would try somewhere different for a change....any thoughts??

Its an upmarket house party.

On the whole reviews are very positive for it, but just understand its very different to Chams in terms of facilities and layout. The whole premises is given over to parties as a full time thing, so its not just someone running parties at their house.

It is run as a full time venue.

It just depends if that appeals to you.

well we do love the social scene as well as the obvious, we do aim to make friends as we go along too.

So we might very well find ourselves there on saturday night, even if its just to kick back and relax the night away.

Ahh thats explains why the website pics looks like it's someones lounge!

The website is so poor, we haven't bothered going.

OK guys,

As regular visitors to The Lodge we can safely say that this is a fantastic venue , very sociable and very naughty !!

The rooms have recently had a make over and now look even better.

We also run a regular club night there and find the venue perfect for our parties. As previous poster said read the reviews as the speak volumes.

Appreciate the website may not give the best impression however the proof is in the pudding as they say so we would advise going and trying for yourself, we think you will be pleasantly surprised !!

it took us a while to actually find the correct site....its amazing that we actually got a link for the lodge.co.uk and it talked about business fucntions lol....thankfully we got to gloucesterlifestyle quickly.

We will be heading to the lodge on saturday....fancy giving us the guided tour??

The Lodge runs a social night on a Wednesday I believe so check out their website, that way you can see what its like before you go, as far as I know, there is no cost. For me its just too close to home and having my son's friend turn up there the night I went put me off

It is run as a place for businesses to book for meetings etc, all the club material is stored away until the evening lol but that way, its stayed open

Lol you should of followed the link from the club section which would of taken you straight to the correct site

You will have a great night there and stu and debs will happily give you a guided tour, unfortunately we are away this weekend with other plans, but hope you have a great time and im sure we will bump into you guys there in the future

Lovely to hear from new visitors, I can confirm that the Lodge is a PROPER club,opening 3 times a week every week, it is NOT a house party, we do not require membership, we have a fully licenced and very cheap bar, and our overall pricing policy and value is unequalled in the scene. Sorry to hear that the website wasnt in favour, but ironically many have told us that its one of the better ones, so I guess what really matters is what we provide as a venue for true swingers, Debs and I are lifestylers ourselves, and we wanted to create a "dry" club where the focus was on true social foundations, the rest happens if the chemistry is right and the people are right. So, come along and enjoy the club, Debs & I will show you round and help you settle in, we look forward to welcoming you. xxx

Thank you so much for you blurb, I think the decision has been made to attend The Lodge on Saturday and very much look forward to seeing you.
