In light of Covid restrictions changing... does anyone know when clubs will open?

And does anyone know a club close to Norfolk?

There's the Annex in King's Lynn.

They're doing something called _oodoo lounge from may. Tables of 6 max

If the next phase of reopening is without trouble (outdoors etc), indoor hospitality is then pencilled in for 17th May.

Last time some clubs opted to open but social distancing was, and will still be a rule until the summer at least.

So any club will be more akin to a bar than a swingers club for the foreseeable.

21 June - All restrictions will hopefully be lifted, and nightclubs will be allowed to reopen; by then the government says it will have published its review of social distancing rules - so we should know if they still need to be followed going forward.

This is why The Voodoo Lounge Show Bar @ The Annex exists in the meantime. Everything is still unknown regards social distancing rules from this date forward but our plans have already taken this into account and are ready to welcome you. X

As things are now, no club will be opening as a club before the 21st of June. That date can be delayed, and it's uncertain whether they'll be able to open then anyway - the re-opening of nightclubs is subject to the outcome of pilot events, and I can't imagine our clubs coming before them.

Some clubs will be able to open in a limited way at Step 3 (which will not be before the 17th of May). They'll be operating as bars with table service, and customers will have to stay at their tables, at least 2m apart. Clubs with hotel rooms will be able to offer overnight stays, but no sneaking off to someone else's room.

There'll be no swinging at all for a few more months at least. We have a choice - behave, or risk contributing even more to the horrific number of deaths and life-changing illness we've already had.

We plan to open Saturday 22nd May. Final preparations are being discussed so hoping to release all booking details and opening times etc soon including overnight room bookings at the off site accommodation nearby.

Blackpool, At The Crack Of Dawn!!

Our Club has decided not to open before the 21st of June at the earliest and awaits guidance from the government, Blackpool Council and public health England before making a final decision on when and how we will open again xxx

Not advertised yet I’m afraid this isn’t set in stone at all

it would be weds 19th at the earliest but we don’t now if that financially viable sadly...it’s a waiting game xx

Sorry, I got the dates mixed up, I was actually thinking of Wednesday the 19th, I think I saw it in a thread Jules posted on.

Anyway fingers crossed restrictions relax enough for you to open and welcome us all back.

We have a question... Are clubs allowed to open on the 12th April. We have just seen that the gatehouse Bolton is open on the 14th April for a garden party. Sounds interesting as we are local and never been to a club yet. Just wondering how this will work, is it a out door social, table of 6 and so on
