Seems that these new owners have previously run a swingers club. Does anyone know what that club was?

Very happy to see the return of Arousals be it with a new name and a facelift, the old place was great fun but I did think that it would have benefited from a make over and modernisation.

We LOVED the NBN parties at Arousals. We never missed one and always made the trip from Oxford for it. Think Gran Canaria is a bit far away to travel now but if we are ever back in the UK we will try to come and visit

Having known the owners of Penthouse Playrooms years. It’s a brand new club that’s definitely got the wow factor and the plans and the work and effort they are both putting is amazing. Seriously can’t wait till the opening parties x

Having both of us visiting Arousals for the first time some14 years ago. And having many a good night. With the new owners who were great friends of previous owners. It has been totally transformed and is a totally new club, due to the work and decor and fixtures and fittings it is totally unrecognisable But a touch of legacy of the old place still remains. Martin & Em the owners are lovely people and very welcoming feel free to message them via their own fab page for further details on upcoming events

The website for Penthouse Playrooms is a bit sparse at the moment with no photos of the club. They describe it as a "European style swingers club".... What might that mean?

So excited to see the popular nights returning at the new Penthouse Playrooms. We've been fans of Arousal and regular visitors for the past 15 years.

This is an amazing blend of old and new. Emma and Martin the new owners have so much respect for the club's history but they're about to bring a fresh rebirth.

We are so excited. We've literally helped them rip out the guts of the place and start afresh. Our blood sweat and tears are on the walls. So many people have worked for nothing because we love this place and it's history. Nobody else but Emma and Martin could give the new Arousal the love it deserves.

Sharon you are a legend. Hoping we have many nights celebrating what you did to build something special. You will always be a guest of honour xxx

New Sharon and Steve very well along with staff was a great place to go first club I ever went always loved it if it’s the Martin I know from there taking over very nice easy going couple hope all goes well and would definitely like to get back there
