We took a look at their website.

For those wanting to check it out, the club is called Azzores, and its a house party style venue. The closest clubs to it are Decadence and then Secrets down in Totnes, but both are quite far away as the crow flies, so its in a relatively good location speaking. No wet facilities that we can see though, a pool would have been a key ingredient that the other clubs are missing. It does look nice and its well presented, their site is easy and simple to use. Its also Couples Only.

South Devon

"Ideally located halfway between Exeter and Plymouth..."

So not actually in Exeter. Must be somewhere along the a38 corridor, perhaps Buckfastleigh/South Brent/Ivybridge

Looks ok.

Not that many variety in the pictures, seems all the same just different angles.

Don't really say what they have facilities wise, very briefly mentioned.

With work, the website could be good to draw people there.. not sure about it yet - await some reviews

Got friends from down that way.. could be good

Maybe this will jog other peoples memories and i may be wrong but i very rarely am, isnt this the same couple who had a party venue in exeter about 5/6 years ago called fantasia or something similar, that did a runner and the baillifs were on the door when people turned up, i recognise dee pictures (the one with the cowboy hat) as the same ones that were on the site they had, ill try see if a link to it is lying about somewhere but id put money on this being the same couple.

Well whatever the circumstances were then is not for us to sit in judgement and wont be putting us off going

Totnes

Re. the new club opening near Exeter. You will find that Decadent Nights at Burnham-on-Sea is substantially closer to you and whilst Secrets! at Totnes is a further 10 miles down the road from Azzures, we do in fact have not only a heated outdoor pool (36 degree's) but a full spa atrium with sauna, steamroom, hot-tub and massage area...well worth travelling the extra few miles we think!!

Well where to start lol...... As we cant post a review we will give our opinion here lol.........

We arrived just after 9pm and were greeted at the gate by a lovely , friendly young lady who took our names etc and directed us where to park so far so good

There was a steward in the car park who showed us where to park etc and was nice and pleasant.

We were then greeted at the entrance by the owners who were friendly and welcoming, we were directed to the bar for a free cocktail and then we went for a wander to look around.... Would have to say at this point we were pretty impressed, the club itself has been decorated and themed out fantastically with quite a few tasteful and nicely themed rooms, there is a big dance floor in the middle with a pole and lighting and an inside fountain which was really cool !!

For us after this unfortunately it kind of went a bit downhill, we were never given a tour etc and left pretty much to our own devices ( not a huge issue but would of thought we would at least be shown around ) Then there is the issue with the bar... Drinks are bought via a ticket system where you pay £10 for a ticket and each drink costs 3 clicks on the ticket which consists of 10 clicks so effectively you get 3 drinks with a click left over !

In our opinion it would be better to of just done BYOB ?? We also felt disappointed at the low numbers for a launch night especially considering it was free entry ?? There is also no sleep over facility which isnt a huge issue but could see some people might not find that condusive especially if travelling a long way due to being in an isolated location.

We went along with some friends and also saw some of our other friends there which in all honesty was lucky as i dont think we would of stayed as long. It seemed to us that there was no atmosphere there and although there was some play going on most of the people there seemed to be wandering around a bit aimlessly lol.

What we will say is the venue itself is fantastic, clean and really well decorated, the music could do with a tweak though lol, All in all it was disappointing but we do wish them luck for the future and hope all the feedback given is taken as constructive criticism .

"There does seem to be an issue with the website at the moment...."

I should have made it plainer as what I meant was that out of about 12 pictures, 9 seem to be of the dance floor; no sign of any rooms, no jacuzzi, in fact little is mentioned of the play areas so I don't really think its for me, way too far anyway
