Just seen a message that Silver membership can only be applied for online. You will need Adobe Reader to complete the form. 2 forms of ID and passport photos need to be uploaded with the application.

Somebody will then contact by phone to take payment.

Looks like after 25 years we will not be renewing.

Surly its easier this way but you never know they may let you renew in person when they open back up.

. If you are regulars and after 25 years it sounds like you are and enjoy the place why would you not renew.I am not too confident with technology and uploading pictures and documents is this one of your reasons if so call them and explain perhaps there maybe a member of staff that can help you on the day if you have all your documents and pictures.

The new owners have made it quite clear that silver membership can only be applied for online and payment made before attending. Gold membership can be made and paid for at the club.

The question that no one appears to know is what the entry fee will be.

Thats a shame but im sure lots will be willing to take the risk.

I guess its the authorities making them do it just to put more obstacles in the way of the club to lower thier visitors.

As I understand it yes but they aren't offering any extension if you membership ran out during the lockdown. They are taking the view that the government are accountable for such losses.

A customer pays membership for 12 months use of facilities. If those facilities are not available then the club should extend the membership period or reimburse the customer.

The government gives business relief, furlough payments etc to the club for the inconvenience of the lockdown. It has no responsibility to any club member

Anyone remember those threads of a few weeks about being supportive of the hard hit clubs? Seems like some of that goodwill has gone straight out of the window as soon as it affects the individual personally. It's ok for everyone else to be supportive though...

I was pointing out a laborious membership application process.

Also many might not want a swingers club phoning them to collect a payment.

Incidentally, a silver membership fir a couple looks like it’s gone up to £50. Wasn’t it a tenner before.?

I am a party organiser and used to own a live music venue so am very sympathetic to club owners. As a point of principle however I believe support should be voluntary and the club management should have given members an option

. In London we have Le Boudoir who don’t allow single guys in on a Saturday as far as I am aware and OP4F who allow 5 single select guys in on a Saturday at midnight ( club is open until 5.00 am ) which before Covid19 was £70 whilst these prices can be viewed as expensive we are all adults we all know our budgets so we can all make a informed decision on whether or not we can go or not go.

Every club has its own ethos and eureka cant be compared with op4f or le boudoir as they are both swingers clubs and eureka most certainly isn't and never has been.

One option is to be a vanilla nudist by day, then a swinger by night.

Two clubs, two memberships, but the two lifestyles need to be kept separate.

Otherwise people with large gardens, pools/tubs and hedges will be very popular this year.

Looks like the club owners are trying to get back at least some of the money they supposedly lost during lockdown. However, as far as I remember, they were still open as long as they could, offering dining experience etc, trying to find their niche. Only very brave people go outside with no clothes on during English autumn and winter so apart from losing some potential revenue from evening parties, they couldn't have lost that much? And surely the government did offer some helping hand, as did some members?

In my personal opinion, it would be much more efficient for them to keep the pre-Covid prices, at least for the first year. But maybe they want to make their club more elite, for rich people only?

I, for one, won't be in any hurry going down there, now that I have discovered my local nudist club. Granted, my local nudist club is family-friendly so best behaviour there, but after a day of naked sunbathing, I could always pop in to one of my local swingers clubs in the evening, without the "pleasure" of M25 and Dartford Crossing.

"£65 on a Friday night £75 on a Saturday night for silver membership single guys...

Very expensive night when you add up entry price , staying over and the price of a paid bar

£ 65 entry price for a couple for the whole day plus £50 membership

Plus food and drinks money for the day and night

And a cabin fee

Total in the region of £250- £300 for a 24hour stay for us , and it’s still only a scout hut

It use to be our favourite place but that was only because of the people and the atmosphere,

The place is nothing with out people

Sorry will shall be visiting our other local club which is a third of the price and still get to spend 24hrs there laying by the pool

Like all members clubs its pointless being a member if you live at the other end of the country and you only get back something if you put something in.

If you take out a gold membership as a single guy it will cost £400 The club is open 364 days a year so thats just over one pound per day!

There are of course few that can go every day but believe me there are some. Its a lifestyle club for members and its used by members every day!

If you are then allocated party space it costs another £15 to stay for the evening too (at the weekend). So as a gold member I can go every day for a quid, or once a week for 7 quid, or once a week and two parties (subject to space)for 37 quid or once a month and two parties for 60 quid.

The only thing I have to pay for on top is travel, accomodation and food. I can stay in the grounds at Eureka and continue to enjoy my naturist lifestyle or I can get dressed and stay in a hotel down the road, I know which I prefer!

Eureka is a lifestyle club not a Ho's free for all!

I only go about 3 - 4 times during the year and only during the daytime, been also to a couple of bi nights.

They used to hold daytime events and wonder how those will be priced.

I would never get value out of gold so I will stay silver and accept the £25 daytime charge provided numbers still attend, if less people attend then might just as well go to a beach.

Well, there is a country club in Sevenoaks that has an outdoor pool and tennis courts and a snooker room etc. Full membership is thousands. They do a daytime membership where you just get to use the pool when the kids are at school. It is multiples of Eureka and you'd have to keep your knickers on.

Just pay up. I can't believe they are still going. Pay up and shut up. The alternative is they aren't there anymore. We will all pay a little bit more but it will be so worth it.

Eureka is an amazing place full of amazing people. The sunshine came briefly this couple of days and I immediately think of lying in the fields. Eureka will have to become enormously expensive for me to consider not going. At the moment it is a couple of hundred pounds a year. If if it were go be a thousand pounds a year I would be happy if it would deter a few of the idiot single men. I have nothing against single men at the club until they start behaving like morons. Personally I'd pay an awful lot more for it to become more exclusive and classy.

Best of luck to you mate. But swinging is all about giving. It's about making connections and friendships. People who want a free fuck are quickly and easily found out. So if you came to a swinger party you would have the most boring time. So best stick to your dead eyed prostitute who has no interest in you whatsoever.

. For me this is a good way to look at it if you took out gym membership at £34 a month ( £408 a year ) how many times a month would you go would you feel you are getting value for money. For me I wouldn’t take out the gold membership as it’s awkward for me to goes as many times to get value for money this is based purely around my work ,outside Fabs life , and location. I would however look on the website to see if you can make occasional visits to Eureka to enjoy the facilities without been a member as I know people who have been and I hear nothing but good things. For me all this will be after July when hopefully adult venues will be allowed to open and I will take a closer look at the website with regards to prices and events to see if there is anything suitable for me and my circumstances.

Great you can afford it, and live nearby. We will stick to our local nudist club and support our local swingers club.

Answer to previous poster. The website does say you can turn up and get gold membership in person.

I pretty much always attend with my partner. We've had some really awful experiences because of the totally selfish behaviour of a minority of single guys who really should go and get a "dial a ho". Revolting individuals. I guess you are associating yourself with those guys.

The conversation is about the price of membership and entry to the club. If they double or triple the price and it deters white van men like you and your "dial a ho" mate I'm all for it. It will attract more polite people to the club and the extra money will go to make it even better.

"£65 on a Friday night £75 on a Saturday night for silver membership single guys...

Plus pay bar only now "

Does the prices quoted include the £25 membership fee?

I seem to remember membership being £10 plus an entry fee of £40 on a Friday or Saturday which was inline with most other clubs in the South East’s entry fees.

Think day entry and midweek events were £20.

Can anyone confirm the price increase as it’s very hard to search the information on Eureka’s rather useless website.

"

So you’re looking at a ton on the door?

That’s either going to scare singles off or more likely make the desperate wanking dead even more pushy and persistent in trying to get something for their money.

I guess the new management are aiming to make the place more comfortable and classy but I can help but think this is a bad move for a club that was already very established.

No doubt their loss will be picked up by the other Kent clubs..... however I will miss them warm summer days by the pool as I think it’s become out priced for most people.

You have to pay the membership fee in advance. Silver membership has to be applied for online via the website and payment collected over the phone. Bare in mind that there will also be a limit on the number of single guys so you might not always gain entry.

Absolutely the way forward. Eureka was hanging on to an ideal from their naturist club roots that single guys were as welcome as everybody else. That was fine in the 1970s when it was a place to enjoy nature and be naked in the fields. Single guys should still be as welcome as everybody as long as their behaviour is good. So by the investment of a bit more money for their visit means that if they were to behave badly they would get chucked out means that they are a bit more respectful. Well that's a winner for everyone.

Eureka has an opportunity to become the foremost club in the UK. Literally the Cap d'Agde of the UK. The one thing that held them back was their insistence that single men were allowed to behave really badly all the time and that put off so many of my swinger friends.

I really hope that I have to spend a lot more money to go there after their reset and the experience is much improved.

Sadly I think high entry prices will push the younger crowd into wanting more of a return from the entry fee and end up making the place feel a lot more predatory than comfortable for most. I understand that the place needed a cash injection to bring the facilities up to standard but I really think the hiked up entry fees will do more harm than good.

The price increases for membership and entry were posted on the clubs closed Facebook page.

Supposedly the websites are to be updated with the new prices, but I am yet to see it.

From the comments of the owners on the Facebook Post, they are pushing people to payout for the gold. Also the new membership is on a 3 month trial period, so management can cancel the membership at anytime with no refunds for any reason, or no reason given.

So there use to be multiple owners, this has now been shrunk down to 2 owners. One of which was a silent partner in the club, but is now the main owner. Management wise, most of the old staff have gone, due to the pandemic, and last I heard they were looking for new staff.

I am a member of Eureka and love their facilities it’s a very unique place to go to relax and unwind , and meet up with friends . How ever having been to

Cap in the South of France - there is no comparison at all . For all those people who have experienced both I’m sure will agree .

Eureka is open day and nite ( during normal times )

I can’t see how it compares to Pleasures who are only open on Friday and Saturday nite ( single men on a Friday ) A totally different concept .

Both venues are enjoyed by all the people that frequent them

Yes the club has new management but they are people who have been around the club for a while. They do not make decisions on their own as there is a commitee of members. They lease the grounds from the owners and have a brand new 13 yr

lease. They are carrying out a major refurbishment of the club during lockdown to make it better for all.

Like any sensible new management would do they have reviewed their pricing structure and rules to better reflect the type of club they want to operate in the future.

Thanks for the info.

I used to go quite regularly and accepted the quality of the facillities for the price. The prices mentioned are up at the level of abfabs so if they are upping the quality from the 70s retro style and facillities to higher spec i suppose people will visit.

Its the online registration that stops me joining. I could easily afford the prices but wouldnt want to.

Pleasures is one of my favourite clubs along with va and the attic and the unmentionable one.

I saw some pictures early on of the work in progress but the rest is under wraps at the moment. I do know that there is a smart new dance floor, the cabins have been painted and upgraded so that all now have a kettle and tv and there are now 2? (I think) premium cabins with hot tubs outside.

I have seen recent pictures of the grounds and it is all perfectly maintained and waiting for visitors.

So many mentioning quality of fittings decor relating to entry fees.

Look around in the vanilla world.

How much for one night b n b. A day visit to a zoo or attraction all in the £30 plus area.

If you turn on a tap and water comes out who cares if it's gold brass or council chrome ect. Seats you can sit on tables for drinks ect. As long as its clean. What the club offers you cannot get at the Ritz with its fancy fixtures and fittings.

What makes any club is the people In it and what fun it offers.

There are not many places around that offer these things.

How many places can you go to sunbathe naked in the sun without worrying about being arrested.

Thats like saying what did the romans do for us lol.

I wonder if youve ever been before and if so to any other venue, va, jaydees, pleasures, kestrels etc etc. They all have a more classy decor and working facilities, more rooms, 2 have indoor heated pools, dungeons, glory holes, bars, just as nice people, parking, lockers, changing rooms.

Hundreds of free beaches, naturist clubs throughout the country.

Yes eurekas has always been a great place to visit despite. All people are saying is that perhaps theres room for improvement and that if it has been improved they wont mind paying extra.

Well what have the romans done for us?

So if they fitted gold taps and shower handles put fancy slate tiles in the shower marble tops in the toilets exotic woods on the dancefloor velvet wallpaper and leather seats. That would make it worth the extra money?.

For us it's the people and the fun we have within the club and grounds.

You cannot compare any 2 clubs location facilities ect are all different.

"I believe the venue is going to be turned into some kind of adult orientated show bar and the huge price hike will help pay for it"

I heard they have applied for a sex license... which would mean working girls etc.... but to be honest... not sure the council will grant it as they struggled to renew the naturist licenses every year due to the local community vetoing it.

The only thing I used to love about the club was the fact that it catered to everyone... no matter size, shape, color or creed.

Sadly.... it would seem their clientele will be either pushed away due to finances or just not fitting the look they want.

Pleasures is the way forward for me for partying now and days spend at shellness beach to get the all over tan in the summer.

Also... people are just presuming mike was the only owner before these new ones... the truth is there was Mike and Stuart as co owners... then someone else came on board... who has now left... and Stuart and Mikes wife of just a year who had mikes shares put in her name got together and are the proud owners... so no... not new owners... old owners with no morals!

We find the meerkats quite amusing when they all run down the hill to follow a woman or couple - I always sing the Benny Hill tune as we watch them.

It's always been clean but very dated, so hopefully a bit of extra money and new attitude will help bring it up to date.

"I believe the venue is going to be turned into some kind of adult orientated show bar and the huge price hike will help pay for it

We often go to shellness perhaps we will bump into you guy's in the summer months

Also... people are just presuming mike was the only owner before these new ones... the truth is there was Mike and Stuart as co owners... then someone else came on board... who has now left... and Stuart and Mikes wife of just a year who had mikes shares put in her name got together and are the proud owners... so no... not new owners... old owners with no morals! It’s looking like Pleasures will be opening during the day for people to enjoy the grounds and the pool weather permitting.

Plus you can now stay onsite in one of the glamping pods or Luna tents, air bnb rooms 7 days a week once restrictions allow

Wow. Interesting views here. First up, I don't go to clubs. But if I did I think I'd want to know what I'm getting for my money.

By all accounts it's just an evening out as, quite rightly, there's no guarantee of sex. So in a way it's a bit like going to the cinema with no guarantee of seeing a film and still having to pay for the popcorn.

Is that worth £75? It wouldn't be for me, but each person has to decide for themselves if all the bits that are guaranteed are worth it.

"The main issue we have is that a swingers club needs to phone us to complete silver membership.

We prefer discretion.

Good luck to them. It’s a long way from a classy location..."

Eureka isn't actually licensed as a swingers club. Yes we all know it happens, but they are actually only licensed as a naturist tesort. Hence they don't endorse the swinging side on their website

Sadly majority of the familiar staff have left, not just because of COVID Only 2 originals left for the moment

I know of people who purchased a gold membership just before lockdown... and when asked if they could get a refund or extension due to Covid... they was told by the owners to ask Boris for the money... such wonderful customer service... also, people who paid for gold memberships was told they hadn’t and that anything done or agreed when Mike was there is squashed ... and the funny thing is the remaining 2 owners were already co-owners back then!

"

If true that is a terrible way of dealing with memberships paid for use of services that were not available due to Covid-19. Some sort of goodwill gesture should have been made or as an absolute minimum the new management should have explained their position.

I would appear that the management have been running before walking. They claimed that they would be opening next week, that date has now been moved to June 21st. You would have thought they would have checked with the powers that be before firing the starting pistol!

As a single male that enjoys sun bathing naked, a dip in the pool and a laugh at the wanking zombies that, as mentioned previously, mearkat and run when a single female or couple walk towards the 2nd field, i am disappointed with the price hike. I go on my own amd go with partners and although mainly during the summer on glorious sunny days i also attend in the evening and have stayed in most of the cabins at some point.

The addition of hot tubs outside 2 of the cabins (mentioned above) is a nice touch but i would have thought toilets would have been benificial.

Dont get me wrong, i love eurekas. As i have a fee months left of my memebership i cant wait to get naked in the sun down there and burn to a crisp as i cant sun block my back properly myself! Looking forward to seeing what has been done to the place and as far as prices go, it is what it is.

As mentioned it's the people that make the place, so i will wait and see.

Been to Pleasures a couple of times and will most likely attend during the day in the summer also to see what it is like. Go with the flow and relax.

Like most, just looking forward to places reopening. Chatting with beautiful like minded people and having some fun.

It's all got a bit serious lately.

"Personally we think anyone is mad to pay £400 to join eureka now, mrs gold digger and mr arrogant just want as much money quickly as possible, they have let the pool go into a swamp, jacuzzis are piss poor, mould in the showers but least they have painted the ceiling rainbow colours haha they borrowed so many bounce back loans that all they want is as many £400 memberships as possible to cash in then by autumn the doors will close... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Karma is a bitch ... always comes and bites you on the arse.

Such a shame as was such a different place 2 years ago.

I don't know, but I imagine the owners also asked Boris for money so managed a dual income?

I go to chams in the west Midlands and have been as a single guy and a couple. Never seen large numbers of the wanking dead as one poster described single guys. Most of the guys that go are pleasant and sociable. It's also very reasonably priced ( well it was before this).

It sounds like the clubs down south have way to many rude smug couples ( from some of the posts on this thread) and daft single guys..

Eurekas isn't a swingers club though ... its actually a naturist club so can't be compared in reality

Whilst I've been a naturist for over 30 years ... not sure that this club hasn't got its identity mixed up some after reading all this

It was more of a lifestyle club. Naturism, swinging, exhibitionism, voyeurism. And people just enjoying themselves without being judged. Well that was until the new management decided to ban everyone that voiced their opinions.

Our understanding is that they didn’t have huge numbers of gold members. With the grants from the government and the innovation grant available to them next year too it probably wouldn’t have broken the bank to provide an olive branch of some kind.

Things should have changed now the poison dwarf and his cronnies are no longer there. I think they should be given a chance to prove themselves worthy of people spending there money with them. Yes they have some serious competition in the area and its down to the owners/management to get it right. Go back 12 years and Eureka was a banging place and I'm proud to say I was part of it.....
