Fantastic place ,5 hour round trip for us but when we are in Brighton for weekend we always make a day of it on a Sunday,great value ,lovely staff and lots to do

No unfortunately..there is a distance separation between the spa area and any play..they can be quite strict on the no play rule downstairs unfortunately..so nothing like the hot tub play at VA but upstairs is more "relaxed"

As long as you take their rules into account and adjust your expectations this is a great place to relax, enjoy others company and have some fun

It depends on how forthright you are. If you dont mind telling a few guys to get lost you will be fine. But some dont like that, so a companion helps.

You will be very safe there though. Yes you will be stared at, but if anyone touches you without your permission just tell Sam or Angie, the owners (black tee shirts) and they will eject them.

We love this place!

Made a weekend of it a few times and did a Sat afternoon/evening, then a few hours the following Sunday before heading home.

Spa is lovely & super relaxing - and builds anticipation for upstairs. Both enjoyed getting braver each time.

Will be heading back when we can & hope to bump into some friendly people in the mirror room!

My recollection is that it closes rather too early on a Saturday night.

They want to lock up and turn the lights out at closing time rather than call time and then give people time to dress and leave.

Yes, absolutely. It's one of the cleanest places and the staff are very vigilant about testing and checking.

Can't wait for it to open again. Used to love going on a Friday or weekend.

Most clubs (in my limited experience) are nothing like as bad as that. Sure you may get guys prowl around a bit ..but certainly at chams, its mostly social chat and good fun with single guys girls and couples ( on a Friday evening ) Saturday evenings are often couples only at clubs it seems.

BGHS is firstly a naturist spa. I don’t think the owners would like it to be called a Club . They are very strict on protocol .There are facilities upstairs should people want to play ....I’m talking from experience as having been there a number of times . Each time a different experiences ...

Tempted to go also, be nice to catch up. Think some other friends are going same session? Shame they won't let people stay on from the afternoon sessions into the evening yet. Hope the place has warmed up enough. The building had really cooled down during the earlier lockdown and the two small hot tubs were out of action when we went in November, but have to credit the staff for being super vigilant about keeping to covid protocols. Had some memorable times at BGHS...

What are you unsure of?

You get undressed, put on a towel and then go into the spa. Chat enjoy the facilities and don't be a perve.

You can only do swinging in the rest rooms upstairs, the set of rooms behind the closed door.

The towels are provided. Zoe measures 50 inches around the bust and they just go around her. She does take a clip to keep the towel tight though as there's not enough material left to tuck in.

Once you're out of the wet area people tend to wear towels - especially in the ground floor areas. Upstairs in the rest rooms and sun deck area people decide what they are comfortable with.

Some people, maybe first time visitors or someone who is conscious about their body will wear the towel when walking round but not everyone. You have the option to do either and when the option is there I guess it helps some visitors.

It's an interesting place, ostensibly a naturist spa, with 'play' rooms upstairs.

You'll have seen from other posts that the owners can be quite fastidious around where people do what and with who but to go for a relaxing time with a little nudge, nudge, wink, wink there's nowhere better in the UK imho

Going alone or with some one, well it all rather depends on how much attention you want to attract. As a single lady you are going to attract lots of attention whereas if you go with someone that attention will be muted. Bare in mind that the staff don't really go into the "restrooms" unless they really have to and if you are there on your own then its worth remembering that. Its a very safe place and the staff are excellent, just don't take risks

Nice relaxing day at BGHS today. New guildlines work well but 4 hour time slots not well because I drove for over 3 hours in total.

As always friendly customers and the staff were great. So was happy to get back.

A few.

Limit numbers in the sauna and steam rooms. Masks to be worn when walking about. Towels and masks must be kept in plastic bag (provided) when not being used. There is a video on the website wi to all the information. All a little inconvenient but considering the situation they are there for our safety. So not problem at all. All areas were open.
