We are off to Gran Canaria on the 28th of July and was wondering if anyone has used the swing clubs over there and if so what were they like. we are thinking off visiting one while we are there. thanks for any help you can give

Funlovers mentioned all the ones we heard are the best.

The 2 by 2 and Y by 2 are two different clubs and people often get them mixed up. (They are on differnet parts of the island)

There are new clubs opening there all the time, 5 this year alone.

Gran Canaria Swingers and Fun4 all are not CLUBS! Fun 4all is a bar, Gran canaria swingers is the same club as 2x2. La Mirage is a hotel complex... You are actually missing a club people have mentioned on the forums.

You need to get your facts correct before spouting. Your information is flawed and your books (you sell for profit) are worthless if they are not up to date and precise.

Your system of giving clubs a star system in your book is a personal review and should not be given as FACT as every night in a club is different. Your book is flawed and should not be purchased by any genuine swinger.

There has not been 5 clubs open this year in Gran Canaria. There has been 4 clubs for a long time. If you want uptodate information i would be happy to help, although i of course dont live in Gran Canaria so cant give a daily account.

We only choose to block you as your tone was becoming rude and agressive. In our first reply we said we welcomed the most up to date information possible and are always happy to receive it, now you have decided to make a personal attack on us in the forums instead because you can't continue to do so in private.

This is a forum about clubs in Gran Canaria, so addressing that,

In our view, and its a personal one, any facility that offers swingers a place to go and meet, be that a bar, resort, hotel or otherwise is a club to us, and therefore we would include it as people are likely to want to know about it. We classify them all, as we have mentioned before from Class 1 through 5, class 4 is a swingers hotel or resort, and class 3 is a bar or nightclub. If a club is run a seperate entity from the resort it is attached to, (ie has a seperate website) then we would list it seperately as its run seperately.

Therefore the information above is as accurate as we can make it. Our list on Europe is no where near complete yet, which is why it isn't out in print yet (Around 800 Clubs in total) - We are simply trying to be as helpful as we can -

And we will quite happliy say for the record now, our posts may not always be accurate, but we will do our best to make sure they are and we welcome anyone correcting us accordingly. We will also say, for the record, just because we do a review, or someone we know reviews a club and they like or don't like it, doesn't mean you will or won't like it. This is a seperate topic, but seeing as you brought it up.

But people have found our reviews very helpful, god knows we have enough messages telling us so and a few don't agree with some of them, as is their perogative.

We have been told by people who have been to Gran Canaria very recently, that there are more clubs opening in the near future as well as recently. A recent magazine article in Swinger World, (Its German and is extremely popular in both France and Germany) claimed that Gran Canaria is going to be the new swinging captital of Europe, that was where the quote came from about the 5 clubs opening.

This information is second hand for now and so our posts may well be flawed ocassionally as we are sure anyone's will be, but we've had reviews come in for all the venues we mentioned above, so those are the only ones we have given specific information on when asked or sent out via email. We are currently trying to get information on the private parties that are held regulary (We know they exist as someone we know went to one recently but we won't include them if they are one offs)

We're only going to comment on the book, as you choose to make a personal attack about it on here -

Several genuine swingers have purchased it and found it very very useful, and have told us so. So your statement about that is also flawed and inaccurate and as you made it here so poignantly we had to address it. Of course its sold for profit, printing four colour books aren't cheap. (Its full colour in several places) but we always knew it was going to be more of a hobbby than a profitable busineess.

People can make their own mind up about our book, the first of which doesn't cover Gran Canaira but we would be the first to admit, it is not flawless, just as any restaurant guide is not flawless but we know people have and will continue to find it useful. We are very specific about how the reviews are done and how the clubs are classified and why a club will receieve a low rating but are also at pains to point out and we quote 'Any review, including dare we say, the ones in this book, should be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism'

People don't need to buy our book or give us any money to get us to help them. We get asked for information on clubs all over the world pretty much on a daily basis now and despite being very busy with a normal life, we always do our best to respond in 24 hours (Sooner if they are about to get on a plane) and give them the most up to date information possible. We may well venture an opinion on it to, but its only that.

Just as you have ventured yours here.

Perhaps you would like to tell us now if you have a personal connection to, or work for a club? We certainly do not.

It seems you are not able to take constructive criticism, as you felt it necessary to block me even though i was being friendly to alert you to your errors on the forum.

It would be better if you named 'clubs' separately for each type of venue such as a bar, meeting place, hotel. Not categorise them all as clubs, seeing as the original post was asking about clubs specifically.

2x2 and gran canaria swingers is not a separate entity, you would know this if you have visited the club.

2x2 in my opinion is the better club in Gran Canaria and NO I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONNECTION TO ANY CLUB IN GRAN CANARIA. Just my own personal view such as yourself. However, i do not profess to know every club in the UK and world for that matter giving incorrect information to swingers.

The only way you can review clubs as a source of information is go to them all personally a numerous times. The reviews on your book should also be solely based on the clubs facilities (which often change e.g. 2x2 moved from small premises in the Cita centre to the La Sandia centre) and not how good a time you personally had that particular evening.

In reference to your statement I was becoming rude and aggressive I have attached my message I sent for everybody to see. I do not deem this the case.

‘5 clubs have not opened it the last year . There has been just 4 clubs for some time. I'm not sure why you would not have this simple information since you perceive to know everything about clubs.

I have never known 9 clubs in gran canaria in all the time I've known’

Anyway to the original question.

I would personally highly recommend 2x2 in La Sandia centre. They do Greedy girls on a Sunday, Nude night on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday is sexy dress. The other evenings you can wear any clothing.

The busiest night I found was nude night.

If you visit in the first hour of opening you receive buy one get one free drinks.. You can drink these throughout the evening. I would also recommend the Screaming Orgasm cocktail.. mmmmm Yummy.

I have been to all the other clubs, hotels, bars, sand dunes and meeting places in Gran Canaria so i can give a very good account albeit my opinion.

Regarding reviews, we state in the book all the things you have mentioned as a preface to all the reviews, and we have made all the same points countless times in the forums regarding reviews and the clubs.

All the reviews on line are ours personally, we havent been to all the clubs in the UK, or indeed the world, and have never said otherwise on here or in person to anyone.

We've probably been to around 50 in the UK, and about the same overseas, and probably been clubbing around 400 times, so multiple visits to numerous different venues.

Thanks for the information on Gran Canaria, we will in-coperate it into any info we send out to someone when asked about it.

hiya... wow.. it got a bit heated there... i havent read it all but i didnt like the tone!..anyway...saw the initial question re clubs in gran can... we are a normal adventurous cpl.and we have been to quite a few clubs in the playa del ingles area... some were bloody awful... ful of big aging ex pats in pvc making wallys of themselfs... but the one we have been back to a few times i thik was called 2x2... the duch manager was really cool...and we have had a few good nighs there... we are going back in a few weeks.. at the time i was a bit reserved but i agreed to try them all ... but alot of what i saw turned me off rather than on!... aprt from the one i mentioned... so... try them... if you dont get i leae and try another... thas what we did... and we found one we liked... everyne if different...but all the clubs are different ... you will never know if u dont try! good luck! x

If you dont mind me saying - you do sometimes come across as an "authority" on these things and I myself have noted errors in previous postings that you have made as well as this one - 2X2 and Tu y You are not in different parts of the island - they are both in PDI albeit in different commercial centres and you would need a taxi to get from one to the other. Our first Club experience there was at Tu y Yo around 5 years ago.

The best research you can do - is to go there.

Yes - we have stayed there in the original La Mirage and it was good in as much as you could be naked and naughty there. Rooms were a bit dated and typically Canarian the water heaters are tiny and hopeless but for a sext Winter getaway - you can't fault it.

There is talk of them moving to a bigger resort and as it happens we have stayed there too. Apartments there are nicer and there are more of them so should be less cliquey simply due to numbers.

Fun 4 All bar have opened a Resort now called Fun 4 All Resort in Playa del Ingles. If the standard of decor and cleanliness of their bar is anything to go by, I reckon it will be a great place. We are planning to give it a try this coming Winter.

Too Hot, that is all really helpful. We appreciate your message and the comments, and we understand where your coming from, because we will always try and answer questions on clubs where we can.

We will always do are best to help anyone who posts on something that we feel we can at least try and contribute to in a way which will help them, but it will not always be correct and we are fully aware of that.

Regarding reviews, so people are clear, we will only do a review on line of a club if we have personally been there. Material in print often has more than one contributor, that is a different issue. If we haven't been there we're happy to impart what others have said to us if we trust their information, but we completely agree that you always need to try these things out for yourselves, that is ultimately the best way. (We said the same in print)

We will always try to be as accurate as possible and if someone does post a question about clubs in another country, we can look at all the reviews that have come in for those clubs, as those people generally are not members of this site (Because they are based overseas) so we will ask them for their views, thats why there are 50 of us in all doing reviews for print, within similar guidelines (not on line) so we can cover as much as possible. Others won't like the same clubs as us but they do tend to score negatives and positives in the same way. If its of any real interest to anyone, we could copy and paste these guidelines for people to read on a seperate forum topic.

We had personal plans to go to Gran Canaria this year, we should have actually gone a couple of months ago, with some friends but weren't able to, which was very frustrating but they gave us reviews on all the clubs they went to, all of which were of course different.

We are always very grateful for anyone correcting us on anything factually inaccurate (including toohot on here) and we add and up date accordingly, we said this to the original poster in our very first message exchange and it went from that onto here. There's no point commenting on that or him any further really.

We have been visiting Gran Canaria for some years now most recently only 3 months ago so here is our list of what we believe to be current clubs,bars,resorts as we believe it currently stands

Clubs all located in Playa Del Ingles

2X2 club La Sandia centre

Fun 4 all Cita centre

Venus Cita centre

Eternity Gran chaperral centre

Tu Y Yo Nilo centre

We have visited all the above clubs

Swinger resorts

La Mirage Maspalomas ( soon to move to bigger premises )

we have stayed and visited La mirage several times

Fun 4 all resort Playa Del Ingles ( Backs onto the Yumbo centre mini golf/taxi rank side ) We have not stayed here yet

Meeting point bar

Comeback bar Cita centre

There were other meeting point bars but currently unsure on their status Alcatraz in La Sandia was one and the other was Sex Appeal in La Sandia but when we last visited it had closed down we had used this facility when it was previously located in the Cita centre

we have stayed in la mirage twice the rooms are clean the complex is small- we hear they moving to larger premises- we have had one great stay and one that was the worst swinging holiday we have had- due to the people who turn up- the first time the compex had real swngers in and sexy spanish day tripping couples- the second time the complex had a "wedding group" in - boring sheep most of them who did whatever the bride said- so in short no matter how good the rooms etc are the people staying at same time are the most important factor- which is the same as for any party/club you go to- Mandy & staff are first class

Seems a heated debate on which clubs are or aren't in Gran Canaria

Hedocpl's post above is exactly correct on all the clubs and resorts and their locations, or it was last time we went about 6 months ago.

One thing I wanted to see if anyone knows, Sex Appeal Bar, which I understand is closed now, shame as it was nice, are on our facebook friends, recently they put a post saying they were opening a Swingers Club/sauna in the Nilo centre, opening 7th September, if you search Sexappeal Sauna on FB you should find it, looks nice.

They are using the same logo on the advertising poster that the old club opposite the 2x2 used.

Wondered if anyone had any more info?

Also anyone have any info on the new Fun4all resort, strange that no one seems to have stayed there yet they seem to have opened a while ago?

After sifting through the bickering thanks to those who mention 2 x 2 it looks as though that is where we shall be going next week. I did suggest that there be a club section for overseas with a possible star rating and category such as swinging, fetish, gay etc. Save all the rather personal comments I suppose.

Yes agree, always thought a listing for foreign clubs/resorts would be a good idea like they do with UK clubs, this present forum system is too disjointed, nice to be able to see the venue description, revues and links to their websites, which I don't think the forum allows?

How about getting it sorted out Fab, be so useful for planning a holiday?

2X2 is the club where the most action takes place and it probably has the best facilities, lockable rooms, orgy rooms with glory holes, massage table, dark room, St Andrews cross for those that like to be tied up and whipped, even a car for the doggers

They did do happy hour for drinks, bogof between 10 and 11pm last time we went.

All the clubs are worth visiting though, Tu Y yo and Eternity are very Spanish as they are near San Fernando where many of the Spanish that work in Playa live. If you're going to those on your own then speaking a little Spanish would help. Both are nice clubs, but both charge to get in, all the other clubs are free to single women or couples.

Venus is more of a wet club with large Jacuzzi and a sauna, was busy last time we went and good fun, Fun4all is more night club looking, seems more socialising than swinging goes on, although I understand they have opened up a new large area of play rooms, the play rooms were all off the bar before, that may have put people off as not very private, so maybe this new area will spice things up. The couple who run it have also opened a swingers meeting bar opposite the club. Looks nice.

Comeback bar upstairs at the Cita is the best place to start the evening, nice to have a drink and meet people and chat.

Worth checking La Mirage website as sometime they have parties at the weekend, you can pay to go in, they can be wild

We had a review in for the Fun4All resort (Still waiting for a second one) which was mostly positive, the main gripe being that single men were allowed into the facilities on day passes and there didnt seem to be much vertting. Top marks on all the facilities. We will try and pop in when we go next year.

Good location although letting single men is not good, and I would think a security risk, when it was a gay complex it was regularly broken in to.

We have just come back from Cap d'Agde, had a great time. We stayed in Port Nature and that was the one bad thing was all the single men who walk along the beach from Marseillan then spend the whole night wondering up and down Port Nature looking in windows and wanking, so I doubt we would stay there if they have that policy. Plenty of single men on the dunes!

Things may have changed since our last visit to GC in 2014, but after trying most of the clubs on the island over a number of years, Fun4All became our personal favourite. You need to get your facts correct before spouting. Your information is flawed and your books (you sell for profit) are worthless if they are not up to date and precise.

This! We do enjoy 2x2 but it can be a bit full on is me times. Fun4all is our absolute favourite! Club a atmosphere with great music, but with sex over the barstools or into the rooms for full on naked fun! Twice in November we came out of the room to find place closed as it was 4am! They looked in,saw we were all busy and left us to it!

We get lots of action in 2x2 in the rear of the Sandia Centre and Secrets in the Cita Centre. Free entry for couples, secrets €5 for a locker huge jacuzzi and lots of play rooms and large couples only area. 2x2 on weds is bi night, seems like only female bi play and thurs is naked night and everyone is naked. Eternity is nice and action later in the night, was €20 when we went and mireexoensive drinks, more couples orientated, we like the extra guys too at the other clubs.
