Just wondering about the time when clubs re open - whenever that is . Why not wipe the membership slate clean and people have to rejoin and pay membership fees again- it’d give clubs a much needed injection of funds - just a thought fabbers xx

We don’t believe in membership fees at Vanilla Alternative so it wouldn’t work for us, but you’re quite right It may work for others xx

Yeh not all clubs have a membership fee.

I've already seen people on the forums asking for membership refunds and credits!

It's been so long I am assuming any membership we did have will be up and need renewal. Of course we would be more than happy to renew any that need renewal. Clubs seem to be one of the "stuck" in the middle places though all this.

We will be supporting were we can to our local clubs once we can.

Xx

We’d happily renew our membership at our local club if and when it opens. However some will moan, I’ve even seen people asking for a refund of their site supporters payment on here before!

Chams fans here but our aim is to visit and support as many clubs as we can when this nightmare is over - our little way of helping out ( oh and having some fun as well obviously)

Just getting really concerned for the future of clubs and trying to think of how to support them - much love to all the owners and staff in them all - we love you and miss you all

Don't shoot me please.

I don't know what the answer is but speaking to some friends, who have lost their jobs and struggling to find similarly paid ones cant wait to get out playing again at clubs. Allow themselves to forget their money worries and day crap in their life, they would struggle to justify joining again and paying entry. One of the great things about clubs was a reasonably priced night out. No still main stream night club bar prices or £5 a pint cos your in a trendy bar.

I feel for clubs but lots of working class people have had a kicking from covid

I’d be quite happy to pay the rejoining fee but as you say some people are struggling

I too recently lost my job due to covid but was fortunate enough to find employment again fairly quickly

Maybe a voluntary thing if you can afford it and are willing to support your fave club why not

Yes I'd pay a membership fee or say double entry fee for the first 6 months back. We all need to feed the cat and I can't help thinking the club cat will be anorexic by the time we are back to play.

Support your clubs, once gone difficult to replace....

I think all memberships should be credited with all the months the clubs have had to shut. If you look after your members they'll look after you.

And that’s the end of clubs forever if that happened- then we’d have nowhere to go

What used to be the beauty of swingers clubs was the fact they were not judging people on the content of their wallets (at least most of them). As long as you had money to cover the joining fee (if applicable) and the entry fee, you could have as much fun there as you wanted and access to all facilities. We do understand the need to support the clubs, but not everyone can afford to spend God knows how much.

In our opinion, swingers clubs should remain affordable as then they'd have more people coming through their door regularly rather than once in a blue moon.

I completely understand what you are saying, however clubs have to claw back what they can in whatever way they can.

Unfortunately such is life that some won't be able to afford to return to clubs because of cost, just like they won't be able to have their season ticket, or their foreign holiday

Such is life.

I was made redundant during the pandemic and luckily I found work soon. I'd happily pay the membership again at Quest and possibly pay one forward for some one who was not able to afford due to covid.

You can actually support your clubs now. Go on their web site and look for ways to donate.
