Which is the oldest swingers club?

We love watching documentaries, rock n roll we are, and frequently there are scenes of Britain in the seventies for example.

We’ve been to most of the UK clubs but none of them seem very old? Which is the oldest?

Can anyone remember clubs in the seventies or earlier? Did they operate in the same way as now or was it a very different experience?

I have been going to Eureka for over 30 years on and off, a lot has changed but maybe as viewed from the eyes of a 50 plus rather than in my 20's

I do believe Panorama or a programme of the like made a documentry about Eurekas in the 70s, its still alvailable to watch on Youtube.

yes delandkaz..Adam and Eves was the first sex club to open in the UK..was regular there for many years throughout the 80s and 90s..great club

Nationwide did a five-minute feature on Eureka in 1976. Can be found on BBCs Facebook page.

There was also a Man Alive documentary called "Take Off Your Clothes And Live", first shown in 1969, which I believe features Eureka. Sadly, there's no trace of this anywhere, despite being repeated in 1976 as part of BBC's 40th anniversary celebrations.

Two hundred years ago, there was a "Hellfire Club" built as a grotto in a cave complex under the hills at West Wycombe in Bucks.

You can still visit as a tourist.

a village near Haywards Heath in East Sussex

I can remember seeing a film clip about a naturist club when I was very young. Probably at the cinema. The people filmed were playing badminton. It came as a bit of surprise to me when I started going to swingers clubs with friends that they had no courts .

The current hellfire has a (great) cavern feel to it

Ye old swingers club frequented by cavemen and cavewomen who would say ugg and club people they fancied and pull them in to the bedroom by their hair
