So. For some reason I’ve had quite a few messages this morning relating to all the ‘group fun’ people were having in clubs last night.

DEAR GOD. WHY? Why brag about it.

It’s a bit of a slap in the face to the NHS workers (I know. I am one on the very ‘frontline’) and worked 60 hours this week to cover colleagues that need to shield and admissions have skyrocketed. I’m exhausted. It’s also a slap in the face to those who have lost their jobs and businesses they have worked years to build up.

By all means go to clubs, support them but how about also think on about WHO you’re telling if you do decide to play. I’m not the type to ring the council but there’s ALOT on here that are and then you’ll have nowhere to go.

Stay safe everyone. x

Yep.

It ain't "just" covid that's killing people.

It's cancer treatments being pulled, it's surgeries not going ahead meaning peoples quality of life is suffering ....

So people can have sex (among the other spready ways of course)

I DARE any one of them to stand in front of a cancer patient who's treatment has been stopped, look them in the eye and tell them the sex was worth that persons life.

Go on... I fucking dare ya. You think you're brave taking your chances with a virus.. show that "bravery" to someone whos looking death in the eye becuse of you and others like you, and own your shit.

It disappoints me that people think it's cool to brag about it. Colleagues who I thought were intelligent, decent people are deliberately 'misunderstanding' the very simple rules. Or maybe my perception is total shit and they are actually heartless and incredibly stupid.

If you look in the virus forum you see people claiming that hospitals are empty and even more nonsense than that. I am at a loss by the attitude of some people and the economic and personal devastation that is coming is on their hands.

Perhaps I read this wrong, but I take issue with the statement “by all means go to clubs” and - if I read correctly - you’re suggesting that being careful who you tell about it somehow makes makes it safer/ok?

I think we should absolutely not condone going to clubs at all, in the present climate, and anyone that does is a prize bell end.

I find it grossly offensive and a massive “fuck you - I don’t care” to everyone else who’s making sacrifices - of whatever type - to keep themselves and us safe.

The amount of people asking us for quick meets last night was astonishing. It’s like these idiots live in a vacuum!

I read it as "where permitted, keep going to clubs in line with social distancing"

To clarify I don’t think anyone should be playing at clubs. I think it’s selfish.

I lost someone very dear to me recently. Funeral restricted, last saw her in March.

I nearly lost one of my parents a few months ago and I wouldn't have been able to go to the funeral.

I last saw a friend in person, for a ten minute outdoor distanced chat, when I was too ill to leave my apartment and get my medication.

I'm tired. I'm lonely. I'm terrified. And I'm fucking furious.

Agree absolutely. Won’t name it - but I went to a venue (to socialise) about 6 weeks ago and there was an orgy going on in one of the rooms. All the adults were in their 40’s and 50’s and tbh I was stunned.

I was also annoyed - because it adds weight to the opinion that many ‘vanillas’ have of us - that we’re just rutting animals who are incapable of self control!

People have been bragging about playing with strangers at this club for ages!! The club doesn't seem to care and I wonder if they will simply try and fly under the radar during lockdown.

I'd be curious to know which clubs are open and how they are getting round the rules?

I get financially this is crippling, but do wonder about those opening, and also those happy to frequent them.

Don’t think it’s anything new with a lot of those people - some of us through our work were already brutally aware of what a large swathe of the population are like (selfish, entitled, arrogant t***s). Think it’s more a case of more people becoming aware of it due to the lockdowns etc etc.

The club in question has had rumours circulating about it for a while now and if this is true needs condemning as do the people attending and playing as selfish moronic idiots!

The majority of clubs have been responsible and shut completely or had strict social openings only.

Think the club in question needs to be very careful as the press watch these board's and last thing the swinging community needs at the minute is to have the vanilla community pointing fingers at swingers as we all get tarred with the same brush!

There are people on forum threads in here talking about what a great night they had last night at a club and blatantly admitting to breaking social distancing rules.

These are the people that have caused a second lockdown. Crass stupidity & utter selfishness.

Fab does nothing to prevent these events being advertised & promoted either - but heaven forbid someone mentions an event they hosted before lockdown happened!!

The people, party hosts & clubs involved should be enormously ashamed of themselves. Fab too.

But I doubt any of them will really care until something happens to them - and then they will probably complain the loudest about it too.

Will you stop attacking Fab for what other people are doing. Unless you and others report it they won't know about it. You are quick enough to complain if clubs are dealt with even if they are breaking rules so double standards are rife here

OK, Admin don't have anything to do with clubs and don't go to clubs so won't know who you are talking about so they would need people to help by reporting please as breaking the Gov rules would be breaking the site rules

Thanks all
